I’m just gonna be honest for a minute cause I’ve been in this community for the past decade and I’ve been seeing an uptick of people who have only been here for maybe the past year breaking my tou and probably others as well.
I will block you if you upload your sims in .package format
This isn’t a threat or anything just a fact. I’m not delusional enough to think that I could possibly control what people do with my content after it’s uploaded publicly. But I will absolutely make the choice to remove you from easily accessing my blog.
It goes against my TOU which has been the same for the past at least six years. There’s nothing new in there. Just asking for basic respect and it’s being ignored and trampled. It’s disrespectful to reupload anyone’s content no matter what form it may be in. If you can’t take a couple minutes to type up a cc list then don’t share your sims. And no saying “thank you to all the cc creators!!” Isn’t good either.
On top of that I’m going to link to THIS post of mine. Aside from the obvious disrespect of breaking mine and other creators TOUs it’s literally AWFUL for your game to have so many .package sims in your mods folders. It’s unethical to release a package that big and have new modders throw it in their game not knowing it could break it.
I try to be a nice person and helpful where I can be but the blatant disrespect, and yes it is disrespect, of mine and others tous are what pushes many of us to stop sharing our works publicly. And I won’t even go into how little thanks genetic cc creators get vs clothing converters just to get our tous broken and disregarded.
I completely agree with this. I know there are plenty of people who respect creators' TOUs, but I've come across quite a few who don't. What bothers me the most is that some people seem to have no problem giving credit to certain creators while conveniently leaving others out.
The favoritism is pretty obvious.
It's not only disrespectful to the creators whose work is being shared without proper credit, but it's also unfair to the people downloading that content. We should know exactly what we're putting into our games and who made it. Proper credit isn't just about being polite, it's about transparency and giving creators the recognition they deserve.
I could name names, but honestly, I don't think it would make much of a difference. Even if I did, I doubt anything would change. At the end of the day, if we want creators to keep sharing their work publicly, the least we can do is respect their rules and the time and effort they put into making that content
First I wanted to say that I love your Sims 3 videos on youtube (especially "Love Advice" and short stories) ♡ I would like to try make a series myself and wanted to ask if you have any tips for someone who would like to try making one ^^ I have a hard time with searching for animations... Thank you for the kind words! 💘 The only animators who still occasionally share content for The Sims 3 are Izumini and TheSweetSimmer. You might want to start converting animations from The Sims 4, since, aside from them, almost no one is making new animations for The Sims 3 anymore :/
Love you for all the 4t3 Conversations - Im happy that people still make content for s3. When i was young was S3 my favorite Game but i didnt had a good Computer.. I always had problems but now i can enjoy the game because i got myself a msi laptop 🙏🏼❤️ - so thank you! my inner child fells healed 😂

One of my latest private commissions for The Sims 3. This modern fashion school features photography studios, sewing classrooms, a runway, backstage dressing areas, meeting rooms, offices, and a café for students and staff.

This amazing creation was originally designed by @rheya28 for The Sims 4. My role was simply to recreate it for The Sims 3 while staying as faithful to the original as possible.

Hey all. I know all of us use the late-great cmar's Skintone Picker Panel extension so we can use all the skins we have in our game without the vanilla EA UI bugging out.
I went in and edited this file for funsies, and with the helpful edits by cmar decided to expand the skin picker grid from 5x5 to 10x10. Idk if anyone wants to use this fr but here it is just in case :)
If you want to make edits of your own, I did leave notes in the file to help you navigate. :p
Pretty much only works with computers with resolutions with the height OVER 960
