The version shown in the screenshots is a Base Camp, designed to replace the default one in Champs Les Sims.

The second version is a fully functional Resort. To make that possible, I had to make a few small changes to the reception area (to add the resort check-in desk) and to the restaurant (to accommodate the buffet tables). Everything else is exactly the same.

Because this is a special lot type, you'll need to use a couple of cheats to replace the default Champs Les Sims Base Camp with this one. Don't worry, it's very simple! Just follow these steps once you're in Edit Town mode in Champs Les Sims:
Enable testingCheatsEnabled true.
Enable enableLotLocking true.
Select the default Base Camp and click the padlock icon in the bottom-right corner to unlock the lot.
Bulldoze the default Base Camp.
Place Château Beaumont in its place.
That's it! 🤗

First of all, I apologize if I might sound rude. But I felt like saying that if you offer private commissions you might want to consider not showing them in public since they're, well, private and all for the commissioner to see and obtain. To me, it leads a potential downloader to nothing since they can only be teased about something but not being able to have it. Again, I'm sorry but that's just how I felt when I saw the ask about your fashion school private commission. Not saying you should it as I've said, though.

I completely understand what you mean. I've been there too, and I know it's not a nice feeling to discover something you really love only to realize it's something you'll never be able to have.
At the same time, though, my Tumblr has always been about sharing my work, not just my downloads. Most of the time, it ends up as a public download. Other times, it's a private commission. And sometimes, it's a long-term personal project, like Rossmere, that takes months—or even years—to be ready to share.
No matter what kind of project it is, they're all the result of countless hours of creativity, dedication, and hard work. Just because a project isn't available for download doesn't make it any less meaningful to me as its creator. They're all part of who I am as a builder, and I love sharing them with the community.
I completely understand that not everyone sees it the same way, and that's perfectly okay. I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective so respectfully.
I hope this helps explain why I choose to share these projects too.

This fashion school was a private commission. When I take on commissions, I offer three options: permanent exclusivity, one-month exclusivity, or no exclusivity at all. For this particular project, the client chose permanent exclusivity, which means they're the only person who has access to it and the right to use it. So, unless that changes at some point, it won't be available for public download.

That said, I've noticed that a lot of you really like this conversion, and you're not the first person to ask if it will be available. Because of that, there's a good chance I'll build something similar one day, but in my own style and with my own ideas.
I've already added it to my ever-growing to-do list!

Honestly, I understand you more than you might think 😆
I'm a very, very organized person, and I actually have very little time to play The Sims (play, not build!). So when I finally get the chance, I don't want to spend hours downloading, testing, organizing, and sorting new CC just to use a single house. No matter how beautiful it is, it's just not practical for me.
I've always loved building, and when I decided to start sharing my creations, I knew I wanted to keep them CC-free for three reasons:
1. It's more convenient.
2. It's more accessible.
3. It's more challenging.
In the end, I build and share with people like us in mind—people who sometimes get frustrated because they can't find what they're looking for, or because they do find it but getting everything set up takes so much time that it stops being fun. I'd rather make it quick and easy so you can spend your time doing what you actually want to do: playing The Sims.
I'm so happy to know I've reached one of those people 🤗

Yes! Rossmere is still a work in progress, and I won't be releasing it until it's 100% finished and thoroughly tested.
I still have a lot left to build, a few areas I'd like to polish, all the Sims to create (although I already have a few households done!), the NPCs, street addresses, and plenty of other technical things that aren't quite as exciting... 😆
Once all of that is finished, I'd also like to run a small closed playtest with a carefully selected group of people to check performance, compatibility, routing, bugs, and anything else that might need tweaking before the official release.
If everything goes according to plan, I think I could have it ready sometime this year. That said, I don't want to commit to a specific release date until it's much further along.

Lately, it feels like everything I've been building is brick, concrete, and steel. As much as I love Rossmere's urban aesthetic, I was craving a change of pace.

Since there are some great sales on Steam right now, I finally picked up a few Stuff Packs (all of them except the Katy Perry and Movie Stuff ones). I don't use ReShade or GShade. I use NVIDIA filters instead. @boringbones has a fantastic tutorial on how to set them up. It's super quick and easy!
That said, with the newer NVIDIA driver updates, you might run into some compatibility issues getting them to work with The Sims 3. But if, like me, you're only playing The Sims 3 at the moment, you can always install an older version of your NVIDIA drivers that's still compatible with the filters. That's what I did because I love the way my game looks with them enabled, and everything has been working perfectly ever since.
I actually ran into that compatibility issue myself a while back, and @boringbones helped me figure it out. Thanks again for that, sweetie.
I don't know if all of this sounds a bit complicated, but honestly, it really isn't. And these days there are plenty of resources that can help you with this kind of thing.

It's been a long time since I shared anything about Rossmere, and I'm sure you're all hungry for updates, so I'll get straight to the point:
I've reduced the size of even more lots, although I also had to add a few smaller ones (the largest was 30x30) to fill out certain areas. Rossmere currently has a total of 144 lots.
There will be plenty of empty lots of different sizes scattered throughout the world so you'll be able to place your own builds wherever you like.
Even though the builds you're seeing right now are incredibly detailed, don't worry: these are the original versions that you'll find on my Patreon, not the final versions that will remain in Rossmere. To improve performance, I'll be removing A LOT of objects later on, keeping only what's necessary to maintain functionality and the overall look of the world.
The builds you're about to see will be available for download on my Patreon. I'll be uploading them over the coming weeks.
I've decided to change the way I share progress on the project. From now on, I'll be posting smaller, more frequent updates instead of one massive update every once in a while. I'm sure many of you will appreciate that!

Aunque ahora mismo estéis viendo las construcciones de Rossmere súper detalladas, no os preocupéis: estas son las versiones originales que encontraréis en mi Patreon, no las que finalmente se quedarán en el mundo. Para optimizar el rendimiento eliminaré MUCHOS objetos, dejando únicamente lo necesario para mantener la funcionalidad y la estética general.

As I mentioned before, Rossmere will feature two high schools. At first I tried using some of the game's original rabbitholes, but they just didn't fit, so I decided to build custom buildings for them instead.

The rabbitholes are hidden in the basement, but they're fully accessible to Sims.

The idea is that the children of wealthy families and celebrities will attend the private school, while everyone else will go to the public one.

A little classist? Maybe. But honestly, I don't expect Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's kids to attend the neighborhood school I went to, so... I think a little realism never hurts.

The Langford Plaza Hotel. I think you're all pretty familiar with this one by now, so there's not much left to say.

I decided to integrate this bistro/spa rabbithole into this lot instead of leaving it as a standalone building. I think it fits much better here, close to the hotel and the tourist district.

When I first started designing Rossmere, I knew I wanted a beachside amusement park inspired by Santa Monica Pier. And well... Here it is.

I'll be making a land version so you can place it on a flat lot, but keep in mind that it requires a 64x64 lot, so it probably won't fit into many worlds. That roller coaster isn't exactly small!

You might remember that the luxury penthouse district was originally made up of three of these EA buildings:

However, I ended up creating my own because those didn't quite match the vision I had for the area. Still, I really liked this particular building and hated the idea of getting rid of it completely. I think it fits much better here, so I've decided to keep it. It'll be a starter apartment.

Hello! Just wanted to let you know that I think your builds are the most exciting to come across in the ts3 cc realm. Love to see how frequently you're building and the quality and designs amazes me every time. Now that I've buttered you all up, may I request city buildings of brick and stone from the 1800's to early 1900's? Imagine Camden Town or old NYC like the Dakota Building or the Pan-American Exposition in 1901. I feel like I've seen that inspiration in your builds. Those make my heart race. Anyway, please have an amazing day, you deserve it!

I don't usually take direct build requests, but I'm always happy to receive ideas and inspiration for future projects, and I really like the references you mentioned.
Personally, I love historic buildings with lots of ornamentation and architectural detail. You could say that my latest hotel, the Langford Plaza, already leans a little in that direction. Creating something as grand and elaborate as the examples you mentioned is quite challenging without using CC, but I do enjoy that challenge.
So there's a good chance you'll see some builds inspired by those styles on my blog sooner or later. They might not follow them perfectly, but you'll definitely be able to spot the influence.
