No matter how many measurements and drawings are done you just can’t beat a visual representation of something. I’ve learnt over the years that building a motorcycle can be made extremely easy if two things are locked down early, the dimensions and the parts. I made this frame out of 50x50mm tube to string line the chassis dimensions by using magnets that allow me to move around the lines. Straight away I noticed that some things weren’t right, I dropped the motor 45mm and shifted it back 50mm which improved the lines. Now I’ll get a few components mounted to the engine and once I have all the parts and know their location the final job will be making the chassis.
