Mariana couldn't be more happy with the outcome of the meeting. Yeah, she got in a tussle with the baby deer, but she was walking out richer than she came in. Chris wanted her to stop dealing with Duan but that was only going to happen when she wanted it to.

Ana remembered something about him saying he does late gym workouts, so she took it upon herself to pop up on him. She made her rounds, and found him in the weight room by himself. "I thought we were friends." She chuckled.

The Follow Up

As Mariana entered her home. Chris was already waiting there.

“I need you to end whatever it is you have with Duan, and set you up a business.” He stood up and approached her face to face. “I’ve already ordered for you to get spa treatment, and your hair and nails done for the inconvenience today.” He let his hands caress the side of her cheek, “I’m not changing my mind about the 5 Mill a Month…during that time, you can be putting in work and showing me exactly why I gave you the 5 Mill in the first place, and why I should trust your seed with it.”  @vnvdondada

It was like Chris to HANDLE everything, and everybody but Mariana was done with that family. She went through everything to make sure her’s had a guaranteed future of protection. “Why should I do that? For you, after all this time. You let him put me in jail and rot.” She backed away from him and his touch. The ego would have made her melt, but being locked up by men made her a tougher shell to crack. “You and your grandson will have a relationship, because you’re the closest thing he has to Carlos.”

He dropped the bomb on her. “Carlos said you betrayed our family. If it were you in my shoes, you’d do anything to protect your son.”

Chris explained. “I did what I had to do to protect mine just like you’re protecting yours. I want to know what really happened. Last I knew you were blackmailing my son.”

"You stand before me like your son didn't teach me everything I know. I wanted more say than he was allowing to give me, things got messy, and I got sent away." Mariana did love Carlos and even though she acted like it didn't effect her that he was dead, she was ashamed to admit she cried for two days when she found out. The feeling she had for the man across from her was different. "You know my water broke in solitary. I was sent there when I was four months for practically killing a girl, because when she found out I was pregnant turns out she didn't want a rat having more babies." A tear dropped, she'd never told anybody that.

Chris had time to think all of this through. Jelena was not equipped for the rage that was Mariana. At way, he feels responsible for all of this. Not teaching Jelena the ropes was his fault. Had he known that someone like Mariana would be on her trail, he would have been prepared her for such a battle. Before the war began however, he made sure to set down some calm before the storm. This can all be avoided with just a little understanding and negotiations.

He also gave @notquite-jelena​ the deets as well to meet them there too. To make things LEGIT, he made sure to have everyone present. Mariana wasn’t going to show her power under his authority. It just wasn’t going to happen. The former wife of Carlos Rivera HAD NO power. She had a couple of old loyalties with her that would do anything she asked them to do, but as far as being feared around the streets, and having that credibility, that’s what she wanted handed over to her. Lets not forget, everyone thinks she is still a RAT.

Chris had Jelena at the table…Detroit was there, Trap, Kace, and his men.Mariana had her people with her as well.

“Okay.” Chris started. “We have both did our deed…and we get the point.” He spoke on the killing of Jelena’s team and also his wrong doings as well. “You can’t have it your way without us having some type of understanding from here on out. You don’t have the physical right Mariana, to Carlos’ things, I am the sole  proprietor of this here ship. 

Words from Carlos himself in his updated WILL….Carlos never mentioned you, however, I do know the reason behind your jail time. It was cruel, and downright disrespectful. I get that…which is why I am not opposed to working something out with you. You asked for 10% I have better….50% but only for your bid off of my daughters head. He spoke of Jelena. She is innocent in this, and though she doesn’t know this game the way you do, she is a huge asset, as she has rubbed shoulders with a lot of wealthy people to gain the business that you want percentage of.”

Chris gave her the papers with the agreement, “You two can work together, you can teach her the highs of this industry, but the right way…no betrayals…thats my offer to you and that’s on line.  Nothing to be waived.”

Mariana knew that her shot was going to make a few people take notice. She had a lot of things to b pissed about, but knew that attacking out of vengeance would make her expendable. This lifestyle wasn’t new to Ana, and she knew from jump that Jelena wasn’t calling the shots, and before long the main man in charge requested her presence.

Chris knew all about Mariana, so for him to just give away what he knew she put time for baffled her, but it wasn’t the first time that he let his son treat her like a rag doll. She was grateful she had a few men that still remembered the deeds she’d done for the family.

This game taught her many things, and that was always to have security. As Chris was talking she listened, and it was the thought of the two of them working together that made her chuckle a little. “This all seems good, but there’s just a little tweak we’re going to need to make. I want five million and you can give the 50% percent to your grandson for when he turns eighteen.”

Seven months after being locked up Mariana gave birth to Carlos’ son. Ana’s greatest gift was her mouth, and she was able to convince the warden to keep everything on the hush, and raise him. She hadn’t sent for him yet, but all his firsts were recorded and she seen it all.

“Before I could break the news I was locked up, and at that point I figured you all were done with US.” She stared Chris down to show him she was not bluffing.

The whole room got quiet and all eyes were staring at Chris for his reaction.

Nothing made him more happy than knowing his son gave him a descendent of his lineage, but it didn’t make him feel better that he had to give her any kind of money. He felt she deserved some sort of consequence for her wrong doing, however, things have been done already, there was no point in going back. 

“A son.”

Chris leaned back into his chair. This would be one of the times where a nice cigar could be used to calm his nerves. “I want to know if this, what you tell me is true. I want to see him…other than that, I can make that negotiation. 50% given to his heir, 5 Million in increments for you.”

He didn’t bluff either. Giving her a full 5 Million was just too easy; he wanted her to think about her future actions, plus, he wanted to know if this was true…a son…Carlos having a son was a big deal, on the other hand, his heart hurt for Jelena, who just found this news out like everyone else.

“Teach her the ins and outs of the business…and you’ll have your money in FULL”

Out of respect, he let Jelena speak….  “Then again, daughter, what do you want? Do you still want the business?”

Jelena sat down as she was forced to meet with Mariana. Like she was literally dragged to the meeting with the crew in tow. She didn’t know how she would feel sitting in front of the she devil.

Chris was doing a lot of negotiating and trying to appease both parties and that probably wouldn’t happen like he wanted it to. Jelena just wanted to crawl back into her bed and disappear for a bit.

It didn’t make things any better when Mariana opened her mouth and started to spill out lies. She was saying all of this to get underneath Jelena’s skin….and it was working. Carlos was a secretive man, but she didn’t know how secretive until he was killed. He always told Jelena to shut up and just enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Keeping her emotions under control, she looked to Chris for his reaction to the news Mariana had just dropped. She couldn’t believe that after all of the lies, he still wanted Mariana to teach her the business. So Jelena took things into her own hands.

When Chris asked what she wanted to do, it was a blur of a reaction. Jelena reached across the table and grabbed Mariana’s hair as she started hitting her in the back of the head. She blacked out and was just swinging and hitting any and everybody.

Mariana knew that the more she poured onto Jelena the closer she was going to get to bursting, and that she did. She was proven wrong and the baby deer hit her first. It definitely shocked her, but this wasn’t something that jail didn’t train her for. Her body was knocked into the front of the table, and she had to take a few punches before she was able to turn her body around, and grab hold of her. Ana latched onto her hair as well while the men rushed them, but like most times the girls fell, and while the men tried to rip them apart fist, feet, and cursing was thrown around. “Bitch!”

Castellanos sat there and let them do what they needed to. Kace tried to walk forward, but he stopped him. “Let them.” 

Chris demanded and the men stood off to the side until it was the right time to pull them off.

The male has dealt with drama like this before, so it wasn’t anything new to him. Jelena was justified. Mariana was pissed off.

“That’s quite enough.”

Mariana’s crew had her on the other side of the office and Jelena was in Kace’s care.

“The business is mine to have.” Chris made his final decision. “ 50% for son…5 Million in increments. You’ll have your full amount once you have paid your dues….Are we done here?”

A Wake Up Call [Read Only]

Mariana talked a good game, but getting locked up really did a number on her. Everybody she thought she had in her corner left her to die, but that was the name of the game, especially considering the power position she was in before. That was the only reason that she decided to put her play in motion. Ana was bred for this lifestyle, and from the looks of Instagram @notquite-jelena was still playing a double life. She was the head of a drug business, but still decided to flaunt around the ones who had no idea about the other side to her cash flow.

Like requested, the men who @duanjuanx knew, Mariana was able to get her in contact with them and they acquired the assets as requested. Ana's MO was never fear, but in this situation her asking wasn't getting through to the other female, she wanted what was owed to her.

Mariana had the five people kidnapped, and held up in an abandoned warehouse. She walked in whistling a random tune that came to her head. Things like this always made her feel a little uneasy, so whistling was her way of blocking out the noise. "Sorry I had you all waiting." There was a chair sitting across from them, waiting for her to arrive. "First off, I want to apologize that you work for a lady you have no idea about. She has something that belongs to me, and I've asked her to give it back but she is smelling herself right now, so here we are."

Ana wished it didn't have to be like this, but it was the life she chose to live in. With one hand movement the five of them were dead. One bullet to the head, and she was exiting the building. "Mail her the heads, then maybe she'll accept my request."

A MAN CANT HAVE ALL THIS POWER

Duan woke up, and stared at the ceiling. His phone has been ringing non stop. He refused to look at it. Not now anyway, he was going to do what he needed to. When he wanted something, he’d get it. She was there, and he wanted her. Duan and @vnvdondada had a weird history. She was the ex-wife of his only brother, and even when he was alive, they had their infidelities in the past. She and him linked up for a fun night out, and as you can see…that night went left.

He leaned up out of her bed and reached for his shirt. Once his phone stopped he looked at it. This was the tenth missed call from @nessvfashions. He text her…

“Can’t talk right now.”

Which was true. He couldn’t. 

Duan watched Mariana walk through the room with no clothes on…

“Yo, I’mma shower and head out.” He licked his lips, “Got a game tonight tho, you gonna be there or what?”

Mariana rolled her eyes, and brushed off his comment. She wanted him out the mess for her own personal reasons, because she knew he could handle himself. However, if he wanted to get his hands dirty he could. “I’ll do my part. I just need something from you.” She leaned back on the bathroom sink.

“That’s what I’m talkin bout, aiight whatchu need?”

Duan was already on go.

“I just need for you to reach out to a couple guys for me that I have a job for. A couple guys from when me and Carlos used to do jobs together. They won’t accept my calls. I just want a meet up”

Duan made a face at her. “I wasn’t expecting no shit like that.” He signed, “Aiight, I’ll get you in…not what I wanted to hear though.”

Mariana smirked. “Are you saying you want in on the job?” She smirked, letting her fingers dance on his chest?

“You know that’s what I want more than anything. I miss it.” He looked at her, “I didn’t know I missed you…”

Mariana looked at him for a moment before speaking. “I need some of Carlos’ old followers taken out. They hold a lot of will over the younger guys, and she has them under her thumb. It just has to look like a LK hit.”

Duan looked at her and then something clicked. “You knew.”

He frowned. “You know I know them niggas and know em well. I can easily get in and cause damage, that’s why we linked up?”

Duan’s mind was just as lethal as hers. She definitely had an agenda. “Damn, and here I was thinkin you missed a nigga .” He chuckled. “I gotcha though, because I never liked them.”

“Sounds like somebody has gotten soft on me. Cooped up in jail for those years, I missed you as well. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t miss other talents.” Ana giggled lightly. The women was as dangerous as she was beautiful. If you were in her way she would have no problem bulldozing you over.

Being slightly turned on, he sealed the deal with a kiss. “Only reason I’m softer is cause my hands clean, time to get em back dirty…Quincy…I want his spot.”

Mariana looked at him for a moment before speaking. “I need some of Carlos’ old followers taken out. They hold a lot of will over the younger guys, and she has them under her thumb. It just has to look like a LK hit.”

Duan looked at her and then something clicked. “You knew.”

He frowned. “You know I know them niggas and know em well. I can easily get in and cause damage, that’s why we linked up?”

Duan’s mind was just as lethal as hers. She definitely had an agenda. “Damn, and here I was thinkin you missed a nigga .” He chuckled. “I gotcha though, because I never liked them.”

A MAN CANT HAVE ALL THIS POWER

Duan woke up, and stared at the ceiling. His phone has been ringing non stop. He refused to look at it. Not now anyway, he was going to do what he needed to. When he wanted something, he’d get it. She was there, and he wanted her. Duan and @vnvdondada had a weird history. She was the ex-wife of his only brother, and even when he was alive, they had their infidelities in the past. She and him linked up for a fun night out, and as you can see…that night went left.

He leaned up out of her bed and reached for his shirt. Once his phone stopped he looked at it. This was the tenth missed call from @nessvfashions. He text her…

“Can’t talk right now.”

Which was true. He couldn’t. 

Duan watched Mariana walk through the room with no clothes on…

“Yo, I’mma shower and head out.” He licked his lips, “Got a game tonight tho, you gonna be there or what?”

Mariana rolled her eyes, and brushed off his comment. She wanted him out the mess for her own personal reasons, because she knew he could handle himself. However, if he wanted to get his hands dirty he could. “I’ll do my part. I just need something from you.” She leaned back on the bathroom sink.

“I just need for you to reach out to a couple guys for me that I have a job for. A couple guys from when me and Carlos used to do jobs together. They won’t accept my calls. I just want a meet up”
