Are you a Vocaloid fan and going to The University of Oxford or thinking about it? Well, good news! There is a class being taught featuring Hatsune Miku and the Vocaloid phenomena - how it became so popular and why people like it. 

The textbook required for the class, “The Oxford Handbook of Music and Virtuality,” talks about Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid in Part 2 entitled “Vocaloids, Holograms, and Virtual Pop Stars.” Here are the chapter titles:

The Vocaloid phenomena is now making its way into prestigious schools. I wonder what changes will happen next!
