Yo! My "Main" is @astral-runic! This is mostly where I'm dropping voices where I hear them and go "oh fuck, yeah that's a good voice for an OC,,,hmmmm" so,,a lot of these tend to be from artists I listen to lmfao

I might have a lot more Masc sounding voices on here since,,,gender envy go brrr and most come from ones I've already given my OCs so,,,yknow-

I'll try to set this one a queue so it posts at least once a day but I can't guarantee shit because,,,ADHD<3

but! here we go! I tend to separate these into more Fem and Masc categories since it's easier and it helps me whenever I give many characters voices that won't match how they look so, yknow, i'm sure y'all do the same so :)

Hi! I stumbled across ur acc just recently and I was hoping u could help me with finding a voice claim for my oc?

He’s in his early 20s and I imagine his voice to be like a chill, laid-back, sort of grungy voice? The closest contenders were Trent from Daria and Marshall Lee but even those two voices sounded very far from what I imagined him as. I also can’t decide whether he has a Brazilian accent or an American one, so its up to u! This is my first time sending an ask and I rlly hope u can help me^^

anyways, now that my signature joke is out of the way HJSDH hi!! I'm so sorry this took so long, but honestly the one that seems to fit with your OC the most in my mind is Max Cavalera from Soulfly/Sepultura!!!

He's Brazilian so it fits perfectly for that, but in their songs you can't really hear any accent so I think it can swing both ways! HJSH

the second one I thought of was Derrick Green from Sepultura (god knows why I thought of both of them but I digress HJSH), but I think his voice feels a bit deeper than what fits your OC, but here's some examples for him still!! He's not Brazilian despite being in Sepultura so it's just an american example!

Other than that, since you mentioned a more grungy-esque voice, the two that I think could possibly fit him are Chris Cornell and Layne Staley (I haven't listened to grunge in SOO long so I listened to some of the big 4 to see if they could fit <//3)

Chris Cornell is from Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the dog, AND has his solo stuff so you have a LOT of stuff to listen to in order to get a feel for his voice! He's dead though so :( HJKSDJH

I miss this man with my entire soul :( He was such a weird dude during the soundgarden days though and I love it (literally ducttaped his pants completely so that people couldn't steal them when he performed 😭) anyways

Next,,,,

Layne Staley from Alice In Chains!! I don't know TOO much about him or Alice In Chains, but, he's also dead HJDSJH (3/4 lead singers in the big 4 in grunge are dead :[) Everything I know about him is really sad so like,,,if you don't know too much about him then I suggest not looking into him :(

I imagine her to have a fem voice, kinda raspy or rough, but I'd love to hear any suggestions you have :]

omg I thought I posted this but I guess I fell asleep before I did?? ANWAYS HII!! Happy to help!! I'm not sure if you're okay with accents, but the first one I thought of was Brody Dalle from The Distillers!!

Brody's accent hasn't been audible for a WHILE speaking wise but you can hear it a lot in her songs!! I will say I'm thinking more of Brody's voice from like,,,20 years ago when it comes to her speaking voice but here you go

There's also Laura Jane Grace!! I will say though, she's a transwoman so if you look up more stuff for her, you'll probably find old clips of her from around 2013 and prior before her transition!!

Another one I can think of is,,,,

and last of all, Aprl Hartman of Apes Of The State!!

Hi!! Would you be able to find a vc for my oc, Anna? She’s mostly nervous most of the time and tends to overthink things a lot. BUT she’s super sweet with the people she cares about. She also has the ablity to manipulate water! Anna is an American and 12 yrs old. I’d prefer a fem voice! Since I don’t have any (good) drawings of her that I made, I’ll just put her faceclaim photos as a reference! Ty!! <3

HiHello!! Here's a few off the top of my head that I could think of, though they all somewhat vary due to the fact that I'm not sure what specific inflictions you'd like for Anna to have in her voice so, here we go!

I will say though, some of the voice actors aren't american, however, you can't distinguish an audible accent so I figured it'd work!

(I'll leave it under the cut!)

I'll start off with the one thats the biggest stretch in my eyes mostly due to the character but

Toni Barry as Little My from Moomins (1990!)

Next, I think this one fits a lot better in my opinion! though, I do think something else could possibly fit better

Toni Barry (once again) as Snorkmaiden in Moomins (1990)!

I also think that these next ones fits really well, but I'm iffy on if it sounds too mature since you say Anna is only 12! Though, I'm sure that there's more clips of them when they were younger since they're the daughters of Chris Cornell! As much as I'd love to go searching for it, I cry easily with things relating to Chris Cornell so for the time being, I just have this!
