Can I just say that I am really tired of the misconception that Stydia shippers only care about Stiles? For the past five seasons we have seen Lydia in nothing but wrong, unhealthy relationships. Jackson, a controlling jock who told her that he didn’t care about her safety and shouted at her for things that weren’t her fault. Peter, who was just manipulating her to resurrect himself from the dead. A random hook-up in her bedroom, and then Aiden, a literal murderer who only dated her to get close to Scott. And now Parrish, a police officer having sexual thoughts about a teenage high school student. Stydia is not just about Stiles being with the girl of his dreams. Stydia is about Lydia Martin deserving SO MUCH better than what she has had. Lydia deserves the boy who ran from across town to the hospital because she was hurt, then slept in the waiting room for days to make sure she’d be okay. Lydia deserves the boy who knows exactly what to say when she’s insecure, the boy who would go out of his mind without her. He has truly, deeply loved her since third grade, and through every up and down in their lives. Stydia is not a one way street. Lydia and Stiles deserve each other.
