Conversation Reflection
Yesterday I have a conversation with Anas from Marrocos, Nataly and Jens from Russian.
Those guys pronounce clearly and express their ideas in a proper way, in addition, they patiently correct your mistakes and explain to you the right way to speak what you want to, so the conversation flowed greatly.
Among others, we talked about the phenomenon called “brain drain”, it consists of an exodus of a country’s intellectual workforce. The chief issue that causes it to happen is because such countries do not offer life conditions for such workers, especially that of workplaces compatible with their carriers.
This topic brought us to a discussion of immigration and diversification. And we concluded that there are positives and negatives points. On one hand, we can learn about different cultures, it is so interesting to know that there are many people around the world who although we all belong of the same specie, we are so different. On the other hand, the host country exposed to encounter economic problems since the immigrants use to send money for their family. Annas rightly remembered my country (Brazil) is a nation which was founded by mixing many races, chiefly Europeans and Africans, as well as many Asians, get mixed here.
We talked about others things, but I think it is enough for this summarization.
Fell free to correct my mistakes, as well as teach more proper ways to express my ideas and synonymous.
Let’s keep working together ENS members!!!

Here are some tips to help you to improve your speaking skills:
-Continue to improve your fluency! While your speaking is quite strong, there are moments where you pause/hesitate as you search for the correct expressions. Continue to develop your vocabulary and continue to practice speaking every day - these are great steps for the continued development of your speaking skills.

Sand and Stone
A story tells us that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: “TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED”
They kept on walking until they found on oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After the friend recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: “TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE”.
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?”
The other friend replied: “when someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can erase it forever.”
Learn to write your hurts in the sand, and carve your benefits in stone!
