Who was even writing these things? Scratch that, she didn't give a rats ass who wrote them, she just wished they would stop writing them and placing them in her line of travel. The Hawk didn’t even have to wonder, after the last book that showed up with some fancy writings on the front. Not wanting to dirty her hands once more, she flipped open the book with her foot, thankfully tearing a couple of pages in the process. Peering down, blue eyes followed each word, and she grimaced. This wasn’t the Kent she thought it was, much to her relief, but still, this made two books of some vulgar activities between those she didn’t know and herself. Shrugging, and slightly red in the face, Arva drop kicked the book away, and prayed that no more of them would show up in her path.

A squint formed as the Laguz spotted a strange book, some fancy scribblings on the cover that represented her name and anothers. Already she felt a rather concerned feeling form, and made the mistake of opening the book, flipping through the pages. The first ten or so were normal, but then strange things started to happen. Progressively, her cheeks went from normal, to pink, to bright red.

Slamming it shut, Arva didn’t even want to wonder why she and this Kurthnaga were doing the do. She barely even heard of the guy, let alone has she met him. “So long, farewell, book, hope we never cross paths again-" There it goes, right over a cliff.

      The tall trees were the perfect lookout, were they not covered in small birds. The incoming hawk caused most of them to flee, much to the Laguz's relief. Landing on the tall branches allowed a perfect view of what was around, and a splash in the nearby pond surely caught her attention. Recalling the last time she had a good meal, the temptation to go after the fish was almost too much.

      Glancing around, the Laguz was relieved to see no one else around, and took off from the branch, gliding over the water for a moment, before diving. Her talons grasped the water alone, the fish gone. Continuing her dive, Arva was submerged, and shifted back into her human form. The hawk splashed madly, in an attempt to resurface, before the realization hit her that the water was only about three feet deep. Horrified, she took a look around, discovering she now had an audience. A singular other. Arva grimaced, and nearly hissed. The tail and ears gave away the other Laguzs' nationality, a cat. Just what she needed.

      "What're you lookin' at...?!"
