◢❰ ❝ℑramp ✯ Wolfgang❞ ❱◣
Tramp was used to walking home wet in the ran. He had never really ever had a roof over his head till they all moved to the city. Tramp never resented the rain or wallowed in misery when it came. He always looked up and thought about how crazy it was to have small drops of water to fall from the sky, and that they were falling from miles and miles up in the air.
As he was passing the library he noticed a woman standing under an awning. He approached her slowly then tapped her shoulder.
“Hey miss do you need something?” He asked with him calm and casual voice. Tramp’s hair was already wet and his clothes were soaking up the rain. He knew his current state was the least presentable one.
A flinch was offered from the brunette, surprise blossoming within her core in the form of goosebumps, spreading upon flesh. Lashes fluttered upon the tops of tanned cheeks, shock settling now as dark eyes placed on him. He didn’t seem threatening, by looks at least, just a boy soaked from the rain. Clearing her throat with a meek cough; “Oh no, no, not at all,” Her voice soft, like silk it flowed. A wind chime in the breeze to some. “I wasn’t expecting rain today.” Especially since it was quite sunny in the morning. Hands moved to rest upon her abdomen as she lowered her head a tad. “I’m sorry, I don’t have my watch, do you happen to know what time it is?” Time was easily lost in her mind, despite knowing when she got off, she often based it on how busy the library was, slow evenings meant it was time to go.
{ I’m gonna go play a bit of League now, I’ll be back a bit later to do replies & more starters }

Chocolate tresses swayed as she moved, slender legs carrying the woman, steps ever so graceful. Silence emitting from her, a look of concern to twinkle within her dark irises as she scanned her surroundings. She was lost, utterly, miserably so. It was a rather ironic thing for normally she could navigate but at night it was difficult, perhaps it was due to her dwindling eyesight. Blinking slowly, lashes tickled the tops of soft cheeks as a soft sigh was expelled from youthful lungs. Wandering hands found themselves upon a large wooden door, the massive building being ignored for the most part, normally she wouldn’t trespass but a frightened woman in the night would. She slipped into the castle with a huff, the door closing behind her with a loud click. As if strangled, she let out a weak cough, perhaps a cat had her tongue for she ceased to speak and instead remained by the door like a lost puppy. Lovely.

The concrete was drenched in rain, rain that hadn’t yet ceased to fall, the symphony of its arrival to the ground filling the females ears. She stood in cover, near the door of the public library. She’d just gotten off of work at such a place, holding little desire to remain, she yearned to return home but alas, she was without an umbrella so she stood with a faint pout, dark eyes gazing out toward the street, watching cars as they crept by, slowed by the blinding rain. She never did enjoy cars, walking was more of her thing or trains. “How troublesome.”
We’ll look for each other like we always do. And we’ll finish this. We will.
{ Sorry for being gone, I had some things I needed to deal with but I’m back now. I’m going to be doing some starters, aside from those who liked my previous post as I’ll be doing those; would anyone like a starter? please let me know if you want her canine verse or human verse. }

I’m quite persuasive.

There she lay, on her stomach with her nose pushed into a fresh bowl of kibble. Several chomps were given to devour the food but such a delicious activity was halted when a thud was heard. Ears perked, perhaps it was the puppies with their father but the fact the thud was so loud to be heard in another room detoured such a harmless thought. Pushing herself up, tongue lapping at her jaws momentarily, she made her way toward the living room only to find a vase had been knocked over. “Oh dear, I told you all to be careful!”

Long legs carried the spotted canine in a circle, Roger had let the chickens from their cage and now she was in charge of monitoring them but perhaps that wasn’t a good thing for she was too captivated by the baby chicks to pay attention to the older birds. Several little chirps escaped the babies as she circled but not for long for she plopped down to lay on her stomach near them; watching. Oh how adorable they were.
Rhino glanced at her collar when he heard it - so she was a pet. Hmm, maybe he could find a home around here. If any humans were partial to hamsters anyway.
“My name is Rhino,” he finally replied, grinning. “What’s yours, Madam Dalmatian?”
Oh what a delightfully polite thing he was, so precious. A right font leg bent at the elbow, lifting slightly from the ground before she proceeded. “My name is Perdita, it is an absolute pleasure to meet you, Rhino.”
Any person with good insight on dog body-language would know there wasn’t a threat here; that person isn’t Sans. The animals he knew were quick to leave if there were no snacks involved. Relatable morals, actually.
Slight fright asides, he still didn’t run as she approached. It’s just not in his nature. Instead of fleeing outright, all the monster did was plod away at a meagre pace. The snapping of something beneath his feet sparked an idea.
“Wouldn’t fetch be more fun than whatever we’re… Playin’ right now?” he quizzed, still seeming to expect a verbal answer from the canine. Old habits die hard.
Confusion sprinkled with a dash of interest; watching him. A damp nose offered a twitch, his scent carried there through the air. Another hop would bring her closer, perhaps she was taunting him. At the word fetch, her eyes lit up a bit and her tail began wagging more and more by the second. In the past few years, such a game hadn’t been played, she was far too busy caring for her children, only going to the park during walks to sit and observing, not play fetch. A bark was given before she threw her head back as if to beckon the male to throw something.
Rhino looked up at the big dog and grinned, waving. “I’m a hamster,” he answered proudly. “I’m actually 1/16th wolf, too. Have you never seen a hamster before?” He gave her a curious look. Some dogs chased him away because they thought he was a rat, but this lady was polite enough to ask before chasing him. That was nice.
“What kind of dog are you?” he asked after a moment, cocking his head. He hadn’t seen this type of dog before and he thought she looked pretty.
She most certainly had never seen such a critter. Hamster, was it? what a strange name. Her back half lowered, plopping down into a sit with her whip like tail coiling around her leg. “I’m a Dalmatian!” She chirped such a thing, chest puffing out ever so slightly in a prideful manner which influenced her collar to jingle. “What is your name, fuzzball?”

What on earth-- shrouded in confusion was her mind, internal conflict bubbling as she stared at the critter before her. It had the size identical to a rat, rather, some that she’d seen because she’s seen some pretty big rats but that’s a story for another time, yet, he wasn’t a rat, how confusing, so very confusing indeed. Cocking her head back, a jingle sounding from her collar, she spoke; “And just what are you supposed to be?”
The bark after his quip about her spots was enough to make Sans snicker. Offending dogs wasn’t exactly a favorite pastime of his, but no harm was done, right?
Clambering down from the wooden fence, he made sure to do so slowly. Again, no effort was made to approach the dalmatian; he just didn’t want to start trouble. You can’t blame the guy, considering all the dogs he’s met thus far have been much more flighty… And bitey.
“…?” he looked back at her with a similar tilt of the head, and removed both hands from his coat pockets as if to prove they were empty. “No food, I swear. Sorry pooch.”
Food was the second to last thing on her mind at the moment but the canine would play along, for the fun of it, likely or just to ooze reactions out of it. The canine hopped forward, like a small fox would do before she went still again. Ears flopped, her slim tail wagging more properly from left to right now as her eyes watched him, wary, despite her own growing playful attitude. With a lift of the head, her collar jingled and a bark would rumble up from her vocals, much louder than the previous little yips she gave, intending to be loud this time as she began to inch closer, drawing near to him like a predator with its prey.
