Character Archetypes
When I am making characters, I usually prefer to flesh out their stats around a central concept. It is perfectly possible to create the concept around the stats, but I personally just find creating the concept first easier. With that being said, I often used World of Darknessâs epithet concept to lay the cornerstone: a short, concise description of who the character is at heart. This post contains a list of character archetypes you can quickly reference to help inspire your next characters!

This is a really good resource for role-playing or for writing. Great for fleshing out characters.
This is one of the funniest holiday cards I have ever seen.
Modern Family 3x18, âSend Out the Clownsâ
This makes me laugh so hard EVERYTIME
I almost sent this to the chair of my department once.

Game of Thrones Season 3 Summed Up in Humorous Charts
MY FAVOURITEÂ trope is theÂ
âleave all your weaponsâ *takes out far more weapons than expected (or logically able to carry)*
and then
âi said ALL of themâ
*takes out a dozen more weapons from increasingly improbable locations*
And then *stern look*
*pulls out one more tiny pistol*
if ur secretly in love with me u should tell me
not because those feelings might be reciprocated but because its really good for my ego
Manuscript Mechanics
⢠Set up your pages with 1-inch margins at the top and bottom and 1.25-inch margins on the sides.
⢠Double-space the lines of type.
⢠Use 12 point Times New Roman typeface.
⢠Put only one space between sentences.
⢠Do not add an extra space between paragraphs.
⢠Indent all new paragraphs, including lines of dialogue.
⢠Put the title and your last name at the top left margin (set up as a Header).
⢠Center page numbers on the bottom of the page (set up as a Footer).
⢠Begin numbering with the first page of Chapter 1 and continue numbering the pages consecutively through the manuscript. Do not have another Chapter One anywhere in the manuscript.
⢠Start new chapters five inches down the page.
If you use these settings, you should get approximately twenty-five lines of about ten words each for a total of about 250 words on a page (except for the first page of a new chapter), which is the accepted word count for a standard manuscript page.

All the stuff with Khal Drogo seemed quite dark and brutal, but apparently there was some levity involved? There was. Heâs a funny man. (x)
