Oh thank God, she’d actually been really worried. “Oh! She smiles slightly as he pulls her close, relief flooding her veins- he didn’t know after all. “You think I’d really get a boob job and go for these itty bitty things?” She teases with a smile, “What secrets could you possibly have, you’re an open book!”

"Our birthday is on the same day, Mel. Jesus, you were freaking out. What are you hiding?" He smirks, his brows going up as he analyzes her. "Did you get a boob job? You did, didn't you? I love it." He snickers and flings his arms around her hips, pulling her close and kissing her neck. "I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours." Depending on what she said, he may or may not disclose that he is Satan's kid.

Kira chewed on her lip and sighed. “Well what can I say? I’m stupid and people are assholes.”
"Okay, but did you start it?" He laughed at her blunt attitude and exclusion of details. It reminded him of how much younger she was.

Kira let out a sigh of relief and smiled. “Hey ya never know. Some people are pretty cruel these days. Thank you though, really.”
"Hey, it's the least I could do for you, tough girl. Anything you wanna do?"
He puts his arms beside him, resting on the couch casually. He's relaxed in his house, because he's personally ensured that it remains a safe haven.
"Simple? When is everything simple?" She murmured as he pulled her close, gently running her fingertips down over his chest. "I am scared." She hated and loved how he understood her, how vulnerable they became with each other. "You’re right, why are you always right about these things? Of course I’ll marry you, I want this to be real."
"I'll tell you when everything got simple. A long time ago, I was at this bar, and I walked into this girl. She was beautiful, and I told her I was going to do some dirty things to her. She was disenchanted, but she did let me do them, in my car. Which is awesome, by the way. And then we laid there, just kissing and holding hands. And I loved it. It was the most peaceful I've ever been. And then, the cops came. We had to go to jail overnight, it was really unpleasant. But when we got out, we threw our arms around each other and started making out, and ever since then, I've never left her side. Her name is Mel King, and she's amazing in every way."
Dalton squeezed her hip gently as she bit his bottom lip — it was the little things she did that turned him on the most, and her biting his lip had to be his favorite. “Two hours.” He muttered, before kissing her again, beginning to unbutton his dress shirt quickly.
She rolls onto him, pinning his arms down beside his head and straddling him as she drags her plump lips over his strong features. "What's the rush, then? Don't just fuck me like that. You've got to play with your prey, have I taught you nothing?" She smirks as she nips his upper lip, and runs her hands down his exposed muscles. Look what the Cat dragged in. What a lucky catch, Cat.
Well he was taking this pretty well considering he’d presumably found out she was talking to the dead. His touch does anything but soothe her, she’s been taught not to trust, after all she can’t afford to get thrown into a nuthouse. “So you don’t think it’s-” She struggled to find some word to fit into this situation. “wierd or like crazy?”
"Uh, no. There are around 19 million others like us. Why didn't you tell me? We could have bonded over it." He looked pretty confused. Why was it SUCH a big deal that they had the same birthday? Mel was definitely the weirdest girl he'd ever been with, but he also liked her more than anybody he'd been with, so he'd put up with whatever she threw at him.
"Because I love you." Mel murmured, "I can’t picture a life without you in it and if I marry you, then I give you everything. I’m bound in every way to you and the hold you over over me will be just as physically unbreakable as it is emotionally unbreakable." She leans toward him to brush his lips against his. "And if something happens to you, I will never recover."
"Come on, that's how I feel right now. Let's go get married. I'd really like it, and I think you would too. It's simple, baby." He releases her hands and cups her cheeks, pulling her in and kissing her forehead. "I think that's how you feel too, but you're scared to admit it. Just like you were scared to admit that you talk to ghosts. Being married would make it too real. But it's real, Mel. We're real."
"North Korea is where Kim Jong Il is and they’re very iffy about who they let in especially if you wanna fight him." Mel replied with a laugh as she reaches out to comb her fingers through his hair. Pressing her body to his larger one with an easy smile. "The risks of being married to you of course."
"Mel...there are no risks. I'd never leave you. I'd never hurt you. We might have kids. Is that it? because we don't have to." He'd grown softer around Mel with time. More vulnerable, open about how he needed her. He looks down at her, hands sliding through the sides of her hair and holding her face so he could really look right at her. "Why would it be a risk?"
"You can’t just say something like that to me out of the blue, I need time to process this and consider the risks." Mel replied as she gives him a look, finally after a moment she smiles slightly. "I love you too."
"The risks of going to South Korea or the risks of getting married? Because I'll protect you from anything. Be it Kim Jong Il, myself, or Kim Jong Il. I really wanna fight Kim Jong Il." He grins and loops his arms around her slender waist, pulling her close and breathing just above a whisper. "God, you're beautiful."
"Funny joke."
"While that's something I appreciate hearing, because I never do, I'm serious. I love you, and I want to run off with you and get married in some romantic place. Like South Korea."
"Wait- what? Run that by me again."
"Marry me."
Mel, I love you, and you're the prettiest girl in the world. It doesn't matter that you talk to ghosts, I want to be with you forever. Will you marry me?
Mission accomplished, she’s blushing like schoolgirl.
CATO WINS THE HUNGER GAMES

The umbrella, when it rains - Cato, Mel could try but he’s taller and the umbrella would hit him on the forehead.
The popcorn at the cinema - Mel, she’s got a steady hand under any circumstances and she loves buttered popcorn.
The baby, when it cries - Mel even though she’s scared she’ll break it, she insists on rocking the baby to sleep.
The ice cream cone, when they share - Cato, Mel cannot be trusted to share anything sweet.
The remote, when they sit down to watch a movie - Cato, Mel has too many mishaps pressing random buttons.
The basket, when they go shopping - Mel, Cato is in charge of running around the store and getting actual food so Mel doesn’t just get junk.
The door, on dates - Cato, Mel likes it that way.
The other’s hand, most often - Mel, she’s better with physical communication and likes to grab at him.
Their breath, upon seeing the other on their wedding day - Both of them, neither can really believe they made it to the perfect moment.
The camera, when they take pictures together - Cato, Mel hates taking pictures.
