Watches from a distance.
The moment he pulled up his sleeve, her eyes widened at the wounds that decorated his arm. She wasn’t sure how long he had it for, but all she knew was that it needed to be taken care of as soon as possible. “Goodness..” she murmurs, a slight frown on her face. He was a squad member, someone who she yearns to protect, and so it’s no surprise that she’s worried. “I’m going to go ahead and heal you up, okay?”
Rolling up his sleeve more, she immediately takes action and, soon, she’s healing him using kido.
From her reaction, he judged the injuries had been rather bad after all. His insensitivity was a dangerous flaw, one that he wasn't quite sure how to compensate for. Others were always far more distraught than he was-- most likely because they actually understood the gravity of it where his body didn't. "If you deem it necessary," the male replied, making no objections though it would have been just as easy to simply let the 4th Division take care of it as usual.
He watched in silence, waiting as his torn flesh was mended.

WHY MUST YOU MAKE THIS SO DIFFICULT

"W-Well…" The ninth seat scratched her head in thought. "I s-saw two people leave this area as I approached. They headed…" She pointed west of their current position. "T-that way. But I couldn’t make out a face."
So there were two of them. How very troublesome. For a short moment he remained silent. Then he began to walk into the direction she had given, keeping a brisk pace without waiting or looking back. "Come. We might find some traces of their reiatsu."
"Your arm?" Standing up, she comes from behind the desk and, once she has him come over to the couch, extends her hand for his arm. "Let me take a look at it. What happened?"
Tamotsu rolled up his sleeve, revealing two large gashes adorning his left forearm. He suspected they had been there for some time, opening up and growing bigger time and time again because he had overexerted without noticing, but there was no way for him to know for sure. "I don't know," he admitted, blinking slowly. In his view, it hardly mattered what had happened. Only one thing interested him. "How bad is it?"
"A-Ah, alright. It is best to ask rather than simply charge in without any p-proper information." She’d feel much better in bringing justice if she knew there was an actual crime purposely committed.
"Hmm." Even if it had been but an accident, they could make sure the culprit would be more careful next time. Much more careful. "Do you know where to find them?"
“You are Araya, yes? It’s a pleasure meeting you. What can I help with?”
A pleasure... was it? "If you're not too busy, Koizumi-san, I would ask if you could take a look at my arm. I seem to have injured it but I'm not quite sure if it's in need of treatment."
Justice had always been the main point in his Division, and Kaname never did less than try and teach his subordinates everything about it the best he could. There was no need to order them around, to be bossy or unforgiving; if they could understand what this whole philosophy was about, then Kaname could ask no more than that.
"It’s relative." Should they be forgiven? It was something Kaname himself was not sure. In his own mind, it was indeed relative. “Past actions not always determine who you are, but what you’ve done. What brings us back to what I said in the beginning; actions, not essence. If you can truly change your actions, then I fail to see why you should not be forgiven. The real question is, can you?”
There were times Tamotsu found himself wondering if he truly was at place. The 9th Division had accepted him despite his lack of everything that seemed to matter. How the people around him had acquired their morals he could not say, same for their griefs and joys and fears. They understood quickly while he needed to be guided with every step, for he couldn't see the path and would easily stray. When it came to judgement he was both blind and deaf.
Could he change? Truth be told, he doubted it... yet he also couldn't return to his previous life. Adapting was necessary. Perhaps he couldn't change and perhaps he couldn't change his actions, but-- "Please allow me to adjust my question. Rather than the actions, what if the cause behind those actions is changed?"
"…Perhaps this was a misunderstanding?" As much as she enjoyed Taichou’s lessons, she couldn’t help but feel bad if everything turned out to be one whole accident.
"--Let us go ask, then." There shouldn't be any kind of problem if they verified the nature of this unjust action. Surely their captain would approve.
"Is it true that..." Finish it in my ask box!
