WTF is a "pops" and why do people refer to you and your friends as it?

“Pops” is short for “popular”. It was a thing started on roleplay forever ago. So when you say someone “is a pops” or calling a group of people “the pops” I guess you’re calling that person/group of people popular? It used to be a collective/consistent group of people but it’s not used much anymore - it’s now used more maliciously as in “that person is snotty or thinks they’re better than everyone.” I don’t know why though. In the worlds of the great Gretchen Wieners. “I’m sorry that people are so jealous of me… but I can’t help it that I’m popular. And I don’t want to be punished for being well-liked.”

taber what is it like dating Paris? Is she as bad as people make her seem? Bc obviously you see past it since your dating but everyone says the same thing about her so I am just curious on how you would describe it/her/you two relationship.

well as you said, i obviously see a different side of her than most people on roleplay do. yes, she’s stubborn and a handful at times, but i think everyone is every now and again. people on the outside looking in don’t get to see the things she says to me or the way she treats me. how she’s constantly reminding me that she loves me and that i make her happier than she’s ever been. people don’t get to see her ups and downs, her breakdowns and her triumphs, her cockiness and her insecurities. paris is known for ‘being a bitch’ or ‘starting drama’ but i have honestly never known her to jump someone without cause. she’s not bad at all and i could go on for hours on how good of a person she is and how just like everyone, she has a lot of good qualities. qualities the people who are quick to judge her because of hear-say or are intimidated by her for it don’t get to see. i tell her this all the time, but she’s my complete opposite and that’s why we mix so well together. we balance each other out. she knows when to tell me i need to speak the fuck up and i know when to tell her she needs to take a deep breath and relax. paris is in no way, shape, or form, a horrible person and i will stand by that til the end. so i guess in conclusion, it’s fucking great being with paris. i’m head over heels for that girl and i know she feels the same about me, and that’s all i could really ask for.
