Summary: Merlin winced, guilt stabbing him hard in the chest. He’d never killed anyone before coming to Camelot, and now he was losing count. Was it twelve, or fourteen? He’d only inadvertently caused Aredian to fall to his death. Was that still his fault? Did Mary Collins count?

Arthur and Merlin are on the same quest: to travel to the nearby village of Howden and resolve the month-long storm that has been tormenting the kingdom. But a heavy cloud of secrets hangs between them that needs resolving, too.
