After a very scary shipping snafu that has since been rectified, the two headed lamb skull has arrived. This poor wee lamb(s) as born sleeping as a result of this birth defect. While some Janus faced animals do rarely survive for a good while, the majority of them have defects incompatible with life and won't live more than a few hours if at all.

I've only had the privilege of seeing a couple of two headed or Janus-faced animal specimens in person and never thought I'd own one. I'm gonna display her somewhere in my tattoo studio.

A hanging ceramic display piece/luminary from the start of the year - complete with babies that can be attached from small holes in the scales at the bottom of the parent's tail with fishing line (sold)!

The skull of a two-toed sloth.

Sharp fangs are not exclusive to predators. These animals, like their armored relatives (Cingulata), have teeth that grow continuously and lack enamel; by grinding against each other, they become pointed. The tannins in the leaves they feed on make them turn almost black.

Oh, and they also have impressive claws…
