I have been a shifter since 2022 (I think) and I've had plenty of successful "mini-shifts" (fuckass term) I go through these random phases when I completely forget about shifting so I may disappear at random points.

Hi I’m the last anon you responded to. I’m not the other anon from the post before. And I didn’t take anything you said as agreeing to that anon at all! I mostly just wanted to respond because I thought the ideology that anon was spewing was really weird. It seems like people who partake in incest (it’s crazy I don’t even know how to phrase that) use the “you’re supporting eugenics if you don’t let me be with my relative”. I really avoid getting into these things in the shifting community just because I think interacting is just fueling these topics more but I have to clarify that eugenics and incest have nothing to do with each other. The eugenics definition you have is correct albeit simple and I just want to add that eugenics was created to support racism. It was used to justify the hatred of black of people and others not deemed ‘higher individuals’. It was all about discriminating against poc, people with disibilities and the LGBTQIA. It was also a way for people to justify slavery. Nothing to do with incest really like actually. Found some weird blog post on medium trying to make all the vast historical cases against black men and women, people with mental illness, etc. that suffered at the hands of eugenics scientist and were sterilized by forced into about how people against incest are supporting eugenics and that just seems like you’re grasping at straws there. Anyway incest bad and gross. Please stop it.

You are right, eugenics is very wrong and I don't agree with it or why it was created. I am, somewhat, educated on this topic, but eugenics and incest can be loosely related (nowadays). I can see now why I shouldn't have said that being against incest is a form of eugenics, as that isn't exactly correct. Thankyou for clarifying.

Although, if you made the effort to read my post, you would have seen that I do not engage in incest. I agree that it is wrong, but these things sit in a very gray area within the shifting community and I was curious on others opinions on it.

I don't agree with eugenics, but I suppose being against incest is some form of eugenics. I don't see what is wrong with avoiding things such as incest so future generations are physically and psycologically sound, although, I hope people aren't so selective with who they love beyond that. Ofc this stuff can be scripted out but I'm speaking generally.

Knowing something exists, doesn't mean you should choose it. However, I do like to try and understand others point of view on different topics, such as this one, and you can't stop me from doing that. My post wasn't to attack the people who choose to do something such as incest in these kinda of drs, I was simply asking why, expressing my opinion, and I wasn't going to shame anyone for theirs. If I'm being completely honest here, I once scripted I partook in it too, but that was years ago when I was like, 14 and didn't understand shit.

No judgement, well, not really, I'm genuinely wondering why? I've always thought it to be very- icky. Like I cannot watch the scenes of Rhaenyra and Daemon where they're in a brothel or on the beach bcs it makes me so uncomfortable lol. I've seen the scenes maybe once or twice and never again.
