Pain changes people.
(via zustin)
Sometimes, you just want to simply not to exist.
Phelps Schneider (via naturaekos)
The tragedy is not that we are alone, but that we cannot be. At times I would give anything in the world to no longer be connected by anything to this universe of men.
Albert Camus, Notebooks 1951-1959 (via larmoyante)
What is your favourite word?â âAnd. It is so hopeful.â
Q&A with Margaret Atwood (via ecouri)
I want to know you. You seem like someone worth knowing. Every day I feel like Iâm surrounded by people with hard edges and sour faces but I get the sense that youâre different. Too often people seem to think that they have the answers to everything. Their faces are trapped in permascowls and they canât be bothered with anything besides their own narcissism. You arenât like that. You still ask questions. Youâre still looking for the answers.
Ryan OâConnell, I Want To Know You (via ecouri)
Damir Doma Pre-Fall 11.12
Youâre not perfect, but youâre not your mistakes.
Kanye West (via hip-hop-lifestyle)
You shall not fall to fit into peopleâs perspectives, Fit into your own oddness and let them fall for it, be you.

Wow
I took this picture today; the dots, the marks on the skin. The bruises, the scratches. It makes me think about how beautiful the human skin is, and all the pain it can endure. All the wounds it can quickly heal, to protect our being. Over and over and over.
I get up. There is a white hole in the wall, a mirror. It is a trap. I know I am going to let myself be caught in it. I have. The grey thing appears in the mirror. I go over and look at it, I can no longer get away. It is the reflection of my face. Often in these lost days I study it. I can understand nothing of this face. The faces of others have some sense, some direction. Not mine. I cannot even decide whether it is handsome or ugly.
Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre (p.16)
I, too, remember that feeling. You are caught between all that was and all that must be. You feel lost.
Haruki Murakami, from Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World (Kodansha, 1991)
Looking closely at things is something that has to be learned.
Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959)Â dir. by Alain Resnais (via violentwavesofemotion)
I wanted something, I wanted. I could not have it.
Jane Hirshfield, from After: Poems (via violentwavesofemotion)
