LOCAL WORDS Public art - 2016 Minor collaboration with the artists Stefano Boccalini and Stefano Serretta. A survey showed that the Inhabitants of a class neighbourhood in Milan were hoping for a better ethnic integration. The artists restored a social housing’s three main entrances adding a series of positive words translated in the most common languages used by people of all nationalities in Italy.

What is left is a series of gospels that reinforce the pedestals of immaculate and barren worlds, unsuitable for humans’ life. Virtuous claims are supported by precarious pillars, crushed by their own burden, waiting the moment in which they will crumble.

Ma dì soltanto una parola e io sarò salvato - acrylic painting, plaster, charcoal and safety hammer - 60x40 cm - 2016 Faith is often used to reinforce an idea or a dogma that cannot really be proven. Inspecting those ideas may give results and expand the consciousness, but at the same time the faith is broken and nothing will ever be the same. This work, advised as a painting, is hidden behind a frail sheet of plaster. Any visitor will be able to smash the obstacle with a hammer available close by.
