Showing my nails some MUCH NEDDED love. I'm so sorry my wonderfully loyal followers for the lack of posts lately! I'm so busy! 🙈 I'm really hoping to get to some Halloween manis REALLY SOON. I love yall n miss yall so much! I need to get better at balancing my work, home, hair, n nail lives! Lol.

People think I'm crazy when they see my hair with a bunch of lil braids like this (they've been called "#GangsterBraids, #BraidLocks, #JennyFromTheBlockBraids lol), but Idc if people think I'm crazy. I don't do it for looks, I'm conditioning! Lmao. I wash my hair about twice a week when I've got color like this in, so the day before (sometimes even 2 days before) I wash my hair, I sit down, section my hair out (into 14 sections-7 on each side) n saturate every single section with 5 different products layered on top of each other, and then I braid each section Bc it's just easier to keep the sections apart. I'll leave my conditioned braids in for at least 24hrs to let my hair soak up all that oil n moisture. This process usually takes me about 2 hrs to complete. N I'll still rub my braids down with some more coconut oil, or split end mender throughout the day, Bc hey, more moisture won't hurt. Lol. But for all those people who THINK my hair's gonna fall out Bc I process it every few months, don't worry about me boo. Like I've said before, I KNOW how to take care of MY hair. I'd put money on me being the only person I know to do a serious deep conditioning regimen like this to keep my hair healthier than yours💁🏻 lmao. 😂
