The journey of self-improvement is not without its share of setbacks. Quranic teachings emphasize the importance of learning from failures. Surah Al-Imran (3:140) encourages believers, “If a wound should touch you – there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that Allah may make evident those who believe.”
Reflecting on setbacks, understanding their root causes, and seeking improvement align with the principle of continuous self-improvement.
