i absolutely hate asking for hand outs buut

my family is being evicted. we have 10 days to leave, we spent all of our money on christmas, my dad doesn’t get paid for two weeks, and i’m about to be homeless on my birthday.

just a few extra dollars for food and toiletries would be amazing. i know i have very few mutuals so i don’t know how well this will get around but if you could spare a second to reblog this, i would be eternally grateful.

so this kid he used to bully me in middle school before i got tough, well this is kind of a funny story. so i sugar from time to time but my latest sugar mommys house is so extra and i didnt bring my glasses but im going through the house because she told me to make myself at home and i see a family photo and im just like he looks really familiar but i cant make out shit. and so she and i start talking and shes like yeah i have a son your age actually and im just like wait… and she was like you’ll meet him later when we go to the car show, and im just like fuckin wait.. and we get to the car show and its me and her we’re holding hands being friendly and shes like and heres my son. and i shit u not this is the same dude who used to fucking bully me in middle school and he starts fucking crying because he didnt know his mom was lesbian and i was just like hey its been a while, but im getting fucked by your mom.

Sometimes I look at this comic, at my first ever comic, and think about the monster it has become. How I am the mother of this monster.

Why are you a girl

I was washing my hair a little while ago and remembered a moment from preschool. A few of my classmates were playing pretend and deciding upon the characters they would be embodying.

I, of course, insisted that I would be a knight. The girls had no problem with this - they liked being picked up and carried back and forth across puddles, which was my go-to chivalrous feat of strength whenever we played pretend games like that. More importantly, it meant less competition for the coveted role of princess.

They went back and forth arguing about who should be the princess during the game, each one making a case for why she deserved the gig. Somehow they decided that the princess must be the girl with the longest hair - infallible logic. They ended up deciding that the only fair way to judge hair length was by pulling out a single strand from each of their heads and comparing the length… which piqued the interest of another classmate, a little black girl with coily curls, whose single strand of hair turned out to be at least a third longer than anyone else’s straight hairs when she triumphantly stretched it out. This confused and enraged one of the white would-be princesses, but I had read enough fantasy to know that it was exactly the kind of unexpected hero sword-in-the-stone twist that should determine the One True Princess and the rightful heir to my knightly services.

I don’t remember how the game panned out, but at some point there were several princesses and someone decided to upgrade to queen.
