Eusine rolls his eyes, holding the joint at armâs length. âThe edge off? Come on, Morty. Youâre better than this disgusting stuff.â He offers a slight smile, but his voice is stern, as if he was telling Morty instead of encouraging him.
"Youâre a Gym Leader for Mewâs sake."
Morty opened his mouth to reply, but he found that he didn't actually know what to say to all that. He could try to explain why he turned to pot, but he was sure Eusine wouldn't like whatever he had to say about that. Especially not in his current state. Though he would sure the slightly hurt look on his face was apparent as he spoke a quiet 'okay' and mentally gave up on getting that joint back.
Eusine sighs, grabbing the joint from Mortyâs hand. He raises an eyebrow, his frown deepening as he looks Morty in the eye.
"Donât play dumb."
Morty blinks in honest confusion for a moment before he lets his arm fall limp. His eyes, well, it was hard for him to make eye contact, as hard as he did try. "Hey..it's not even the strong stuff." He smiled lightly, but made no move to retrieve the damned thing. "Just enough to take the edge off."
"Could you perhaps, not do that?"
-ceases all actions-...do what?

Why did I waste my time on this why did I think it was a good idea what we just donât know Based on THIS. I need to get off Nico.
"Iâm justâŠworried." Christa laughed gently, holding out her hand to Morty. "Iâm Christa. Nice to meet you. Iâm a psychic gym leader in another region." She sighs gently, crossing her arms and looking around the darkened room. "I know that itâs late and, I really donât mean to bother you."Â
"Thereâs just someone in my life whoâs not doing to well right now." Her frown deepens and she sighs. "I want to know if heâll everâlisten to me and stop chasing his dreams. Theyâre going to kill him."
Morty let a small smile creep onto his lips, tilting his head slightly as he took her hand gently and turned it over, holding it with both of his own. "Being worried just shows you care. It's good to meet you, Christa. I'm Morty, as you must already know." The smile on his face stayed there for a moment longer as he gazed passed her. "I'm not surprised you made it to me then, Miss Gym Leader, despite the type disadvantage." He eased his already light grip on her hand and gestured downward. "I know you're not here for a battle, so why don't we sit down and make ourselves more comfortable?" And he did just that, though the wood wasn't exactly comfortable by definition. It was better than standing, regardless. He waved he off once she was sat down and shrugged his shoulders. "It's not actually all that late for me...so don't worry about that." He reached out his hands, palms up, to her. "So you want me to look ahead and see where these so called dangerous dreams will take him..?" He raised a brow, letting his eyes wander until he decided to close them. "Tell me more about this man."
"...I heard you could tell people's futures."
"I'm not as efficient as some...but I assure you what I do see will happen, under some circumstances. The future is not set in stone, until you make it so."He paused, smiling lightly."..I can say this is the first time a trainer has approached me about something like this. What would you like to know?"
