The Golf Links at Ferry Point is a 222-acre parcel in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx, located on the east side of the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge, which crosses the East River and connects the Bronx with the borough of Queens. It’s bordered by housing to the east, while the western boundary is lined by the Hutchinson River Parkway, and the course can be easily accessed from all of New York City’s boroughs. The course is part of a city-funded redevelopment project. The park was originally built during the construction of the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge completed in 1939, and for two decades after World War II, Ferry Point was used as a landfill. Ferry Point offers spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline from most of its 18 holes but it comes at a cost $233.00 for non-residences of the 5 boroughs.
