This is the most stressful part of my data. I have been working with this student for only a week and struggle trying to find things that she would enjoy but also help her learn. Is the way i described it appropriate for the project?

This is one of my favorite parts of the data I collected. I feel I could be more specific with it but not sure if it will make it too wordy.
Excited to analyze
A part of my data I am most excited to analyze is the tutoring part of my day. I feel like I try to prepare as much as possible and allow for flexibility based on the students needs that day. It is a very intresting part of my week.
How am I collecting data?
The biggest challenge in this assignment is remembering so many things throughout my day, because I can be super forgetful, especially for background information. Because of this I decided to bring my notebook around whenever I go so I can jot down what I see, and then some example of info literacy within that example to expand on when I have more time. Once I have the ball rolling and have information I can refer to, remembering and adding onto my data gets pretty easy!
I agree that just writing down a reminder of what you saw helps you be able to remember what you saw and what made you write it down. I do wish I wrote more down because I feel there was much more I could have added that I just did not pay enough attention to.
SURPRISE from data collection week.
I have always believed in the importance of “downtime”. Prior to the last week, I would have said I just don’t have much, if any at this stage of my life. But… I would be wrong!Â
It turns out that patterns did in fact appear in my data collection! In addition to rarely getting my act together in time to get my cold-brew situated before going to bed- resulting in a regular stop at WAWA, I found that I look forward to my Audiobook time in the car on the way home from work. I also found that when there’s a change in my morning routine that allows me to listen on the way TO work, I’m especially happy about it!
I realize the downtime is actually happening more than I thought, and it makes me appreciate it that much more!
Its really interesting because you seem to enjoy this time and call it down time. As personally I do not consider driving to work downtime as I am doing something to go do something else and I feel driving is very stressful to me. Though I do love audio books and long drives with one on always makes time go by faster.
Data Collection
When collecting data I noticed that I have had issues writing things down right away but have become more observant of the things I am doing and in my interactions. On the first day I knew I would not be able to take pictures and keep up and remember to do it all day for three days. So I just became more observant and took more mental notes for myself to write about later. This is what worked best for me because keeping track of things is not very easy for me to remember.
Myself as an audience
When I watch tv it tends to be on streaming services. While school is in session I do not watch tv very often. Though when I have time I will binge watch a show. I like to watch shows that have a lot of drama in them. I like to be very invested in the shows I watch. If they do not instantly grab my attention I will not continue watching. This is something I find important in shows if I do not feel the need to watch another episode I will not.
Collecting data
When collecting data this week I wrote things down the first day because I forgot my phone at home, but the rest of the days I have been taking pictures so I can look back at it and use the data collected. I find this has really helped me.
Information is used to allow people to know what is going on. The picture I provided is information about the nutrition facts in a box of Reese's Puffs. This is informing you about what you put in you body. You encounter things like this everyday that tell you about things that happen and things you need to know.
Red Bands Society Cancelled
I remember watching this show and thought it was cool and different. Though it was cancelled after one season and seemed to be forgotten about. I was definitely upset about this because the season ended with a huge cliff hanger and we never got answers. This was what really upset me about the cancellation.
Style Rules for long podcast
When listening to a podcast the first thing you notice is the name of the podcast and the title of the episode. These are both things that will draw a target audience into the show. I also think podcasts longer than 20 minutes tend to have more than one participant talking in the show. This tends to look more like a conversation which also makes the podcast style different than say a press interview. It is also more personable when two or more people are talking to each other. This makes it more interesting than one person just talking at the listeners. This is why you see podcasts with only one host always bringing people on the show because it is not as entertaining to just listen to one person's thoughts all the time. This conversational style is something I find important with podcasts and seems to be the norm in this creative industry.
Style rule: TikTok
On TikTok to make a popular video it tends to come with multiple things. You first have to be quickly entertaining. Even if TikTok now has longer features people will swipe away if it is not entertaining in the first few seconds. You also need to use the right tags as well as trending sounds. With all this together you have a higher chance of attracting an audience.
Style rule
I think style when trying to attract an audience is very important. You want to be interesting, especially in the first few sentences. This will catch people's attention. Also, you don't want to write too much that it becomes uninteresting or overwhelming to read. Keeping it shorter in a post will draw more attention.

Good news! You aren't required to make your hobbies and passions "marketable." In fact, your crafts, hobbies, and passions don't even need to be public if you so choose. You don't have to spend all of your energy becoming perfect if you aren't enjoying the process. You are not a product, you are a person, a creative, and your work also does not need to be a product.
I think this shows user experience. If you are not enjoying and connecting with what you are doing you are not going to connect with the audience. The experience is apart of enjoying it. You will struggle with that if you do not feel the same way.
bingo
I do not think I agree with the whole "Death Of The Audience" idea though this shows the idea of the audience. When writing you have a target audience in mind. There will be people who do not like it in your target but also there can be people outside this audience who also sees it. You are writing for your target and you have to keep that as the main people who will see and enjoy it.
What will my revision process look like?
My revision process used to be 2 simple procedures: 1.) reread the entire piece to look for obvious grammar, mistypes, or formatting issues, and 2.) cut down info to meet requirements and to help the flow of information. HOWEVER, that has been something I wanted to change and I have created steps in making sure I change it. Something that I’ve changed is I read my paper over once I’m done the draft, once I begin the revision process and once after, because there have been times mistakes have gotten by me. Something else would be instead of just cutting out irrelevant info, I could review the points I made and see if I can make them more meaningful or specific. And lastly ask myself questions like “why does this matter” and if I cannot explain it in the text or it is not apparent I may remove that information to replace it with something I can explain.
I like how you want to ask why something matters. I feel like we may have opposite problems. When you describe your revision process you sound like you try to cut down your writing. I feel like I never add enough to my writing. Though with this method you use I may start to do something similar to add more rather than cutting out.
