The downpour of rain and the darkness of night were conditions for a dangerous drive, but that didnât stop her. It shouldâve though, were she in a logical state of mind. But unfortunately, sheâs human, and similarly to all humans, they fall to the curse of tiredness and therefore, logical fallacies. No matter how many energy drinks sheâs had within the past 24 hours, she would need to sleep at some point, preferably soon. So for now, itâs a miracle that sheâs conscious behind the wheel, and hasnât crashed into anything - until right now.
âShit, shit, shit!â
The car begins hydroplaning, and she loses control of the steering wheel. She tries to brake immediately, but that ends up with the car skidding out of control. The car ends up going to the opposite side of the road, and in the instant before it crashes, she lets up on the brakes and her futile attempt to steer. She brings her hands and forearms in front of her head before the impact. The car rams into a tree, and she gets launched forward into the airbag before passing out from shock.
A minute passes before she slowly lifts her head up from the airbag. Albeit dazed, sheâs able to fumble around with the seatbelt, unbuckling and opening the car door. Any tiredness she had was gone, now replaced with adrenaline, though thereâs no telling how long thatâll last - although the mental crash will be worse than it wouldâve been when she was normally tired.
âDammnitâ
She clutches her head to steady her vision, before slipping out of the car to get an assessment of the damage. The cold rain contrasts with the heat of the summer night, sending a chill throughout her body. Once she turns on her phoneâs flashlight and shines it on the front of the car, she sighs.
The car is totaled - by all definitions. The crumple zone is crushed, so the internal parts like the engine are damaged and canât be driven.
She gets back in the car, sitting sideways with the door open, so at least some part of her is covered from the rain. She dials a tow truck company, telling them what happened, and gets informed that theyâll send somebody out within three hours due to the time, weather, and how she was in the middle of nowhere.
âOkay, thank you.â she says before they hang up. âJesus, three hours?â she mutters to herself, wondering what she could do in that time. Using her phone would be idiotic-she needs to preserve the remaining battery she has, so that doesnât leave her with much to do.
She reflects on the situation as a whole, and tears start to swell up in her eyes, almost threatening to fall. All the fear, frustration, and anger came at her at full force. It was such a preventable problem, and now she has to spend days of her time sorting out all the issues. She mourns the fact she would nearly be back home by now. She could be enjoying the softness of her bed, the cool chill of her AC.
A tear manages to escape and falls on her pants. Sitting in her thoughts for a while, she was too preoccupied in her thoughts to notice the truck that was approaching, until it was close enough for its headlights to be shining on her car and the pavement in front of her.
She looks over her shoulder and out the passenger window, feeling relief that maybe they were able to send a tow truck earlier than expected, but that hope was shot down when her vision focused and realized it was a regular pickup truck. Fear immediately rooted itself in place of the lost hope at the unknown person. She quickly tried to wipe away the tears so the person wouldnât see that sheâs in a vulnerable state. Although it wouldnât take a genius to assume that somebody who only recently suffered through a car accident would be vulnerable.
The mysterious person makes their way to the driver's side of her car, already becoming drenched merely from the short distance they walked. Itâs a man, no older than 23, dressed in a long sleeve flannel shirt, suspenders, dark blue jeans, and boots. He has black, middle-parted hair, with virtually aâŚsmug? look on his face.
âLooky here! The Lord must be punishing you for something, âcause you donât look to be in that great of a predicament.â His cheery voice and attitude immediately puts her more on guard, wondering what his intentions are.

And Ik I could just âwrite my ownâ or âdraw it myselfâ but 1. My writing is ass and 2. My drawings are ass so no, you really DONT want me doing that stuff. and the thing is ik if it was more popular, people would eat it up and thereâd be a lot of things. The only thing holding society back from enlightenment is how small and unknown the game is. Itâs got a fandom of like 5. Iâve known about the game for a while now and I still donât know the lore or if there even really is any because thereâs literally NOTHINGGGGG ON IT. But the thing is, the character is peak. WHY DO THIS TO ME THEN??? And you know what makes it SOOO much worse?? Is that FUCKING MINESWEEPER-THE YELLOW SMILY FACE FROM MINESWEEPER HAS MORE CONTENT.
THIS GUY! and itâs all because of a game that dropped this July. Not sayin thereâs a lot of stuff, cus there isnât, trust I looked, but there is at least SOMETHING. What it lacks in the fanfic area it makes up for in the TikTok edits. This, thereâs literally nothing. You google âVic Porterâ and you get some real dude named that. You google âminesweeper plusâ and you donât have to look long to get the gooner edits and fanart. đđđ I JUST WANT TO GOON. LET ME GOON.
