Her ethnicity has been a lot of things, ranging from Actually White to Generic Slavic to Mixed Jewish/Romani to (possibly) Full Romani. Her formal art ranges from pale to quite dark across the decades, and there are bunches of ways to portray her that are all indisputably valid. So choose your own Wanda, celebrate her however you like!!!
That said, Elizabeth Olsen is as suitable of an actress as Ian McKellan or Michael Fassbender for Erik, Carolina Bartczak for Magda, Evan Peters for Peter Maximoff, but her portrayal is the one that some people are hellbent on shitting on? As if flinging insults at a pretty damn solid (IMO) depiction of Wanda does anything to validate the Wanda Of Your Heart?
