Chub mackerels are pretty. This started out as a simple color sketch.

Pajama cardinalfish. They’re mouth brooders--the males keep the eggs safe in their mouths.

Chain catshark. I’m a bit embarrassed how relatively simple this turned out in the end. Maybe I should stick with tropical bony fish.

I did a 3-way collab with my friends @wanderbrack and @oscarofdiamonds! I sketched oscarofdiamonds’ character Gwyn, inked oscarofdiamonds’ lineart of wanderbrack+whiningaboutyuri’s character Maggie, and colored wanderbrack’s sketch+oscarofdiamond’s inks of my character, Aina.
