"overdosage?" he repeated after her with wide eyes. belatedly, he realises he didn't think this plan through. with a sheepish laugh, he claps the back of his neck and shrugs. "i guess i'll just be swimming in some vitamin sea, then."
“Oh, I appreciate it! Thank you so much!” She hated to be a bother but if he was offering then why say no? In the meantime, she could admire the chocolates at the front that were so wonderfully made. How envious she was that someone could have such a skill.
and the boy disappeared behind a door he pushed open, eyes scanning the shelves for any of the window type chocolates she had mentioned before he locks on the very last one. making a quick snatch for it, he returned to the counter and held it out. "will this one be alright?"

there's an expectant look on the seer's face as they lean forward, head canted as they attempt to read the paper. "what does it say?" concern lacing their words as they look at the other. did they mistakenly add in something negative? kei knows there shouldn't be anything negative - having checked the messages personally themselves.

She watched him as he slouched over his desk, seemingly struggling over internal thoughts. Does Schnee feel any signs of remorse for being a cause of his slump? No. If anything, she thought this was just what he deserved. This was what he deserved for giving up. This was what he deserved for letting her die. ”Maybe you wouldn’t be struggling,” She voiced her thoughts, thus announcing her presence, “If you didn’t give up every time you couldn’t handle something.” The translucent girl stepped forward, until she was next to him. ”Maybe that scar would still be a red line if you hadn’t gave up.” Her hands ghosted over the scar on his wrist—a sign that his soul mate had died. A sign that he let his soul mate die. A sign that he killed his soul mate.
And he glared at the ghost of his soulmate (the same girl he gave up on the same girl he let die) when she repeated the truth to him once more. Of course he knew, he had accepted everything she had told him without hesitation - let the words beat him senseless because he deserved it.
"I don't need you to tell me, Schnee. I got it, alright? I fucked up big time and now the ghost of my soulmate haunts me for all eternity, what fucking else do you want?" He snapped at her, turning in his chair to avoid looking at her transparent frame.
He never got to really hug her, he realised.

he pulled his hand back and dropped the orange back into the plastic bag, pondering her question. now that he was actually away from the supermarket with a huge bag of promotion oranges, he didn't actually know what to do with them.
"i'm gonna have orange juice three times a day." he decided.
Flushing with embarrassment at her foolishness, the girl only mirrors his own actions, stretching slightly with a smile. "S-sorry for misinterpreting. I’ve been stargazing for a few hours, I think. I was also reading and listening to music, so then again I wouldn’t think it counts."
Shoulders moving with a chaste shrug, the girl hums lightly as she looks over to him. "Hm, well, if you need any help going around the city, I’m here to help! Ah, I’m Nat." The girl then found herself being rude since she didn’t remember introducing herself, so red colored her cheeks even more so.
"I found this place about a month ago, I think. I had always used the roof of my apartment building, but then they closed that off and I just wandered around, finding this place. How many constellations do you know?"
He laughed and his hand waved airily, dismissing the mistake. "It's alright, we all make mistakes. And it's pretty late too, so mistakes are guaranteed." He nodded as she mentioned what else she did. "I think it does kind of count? I mean, you're still in the stargazing mode?" He wasn't entirely sure himself.
"I'm Nox. It's nice to meet you, Nat." And that was another name and face he could add to his memory bank. "That'd be really nice, actually, since I'm just sticking to my area. I haven't really gone out and explored." It was more of the fact he was too afraid to do so, too afraid he'd get lost within the messy streets.
"Don't you have a balcony to look out from?" He asked, turning his head to her and tilting in in question. "Or is it a balcony-less apartment?" Those were something he was more familiar with, having been surrounded by a lot of them in his area.
And then it clicks. His hand shakes slightly, reassuring her that he was there and that he wasn’t going to be leaving her anytime soon. Of course, this might be a little difficult since he was in a wheelchair with a stack of papers in his lab. “L-Look…I’m willing to help…but we’ve got a bit of a problem. Can you…find the handles of my wheelchair?”
The sudden shake of his hand was welcoming and she held on just a bit tighter, listening raptly to his instruction. "Sure." Slowly, her hand began to follow his arm until she found his shoulder and the seat of the wheelchair. A couple more inches and she was gripping onto the handlebars. Manoeuvring around so she stood behind the wheelchair, she tapped his shoulder. "What do I do now?"
' who says i was stressed out? ’ she quips. it is a playful remark, no ill intentions as it tinkers against the air. eyes draw towards the menu before settling on one drink in particular. she parts her lips to tell it to him, but a giggle pours forth instead.
' strawberry shake? you struck me for the black coffee type of guy. you know, ` i’m so tough, i could swallow a pole ` or somethin’. strawberry shake. cute. i think i’m gonna have a green tea smoothie. ’ fingers fumble with the purse at her side before taking a step forward with the line.
he only has a laugh to offer at her comment before he pulls out enough money to cover for them both. "i'm paying, it's my treat remember?" it's only to make up for probably taking her away from whatever she was doing by asking if she knew him.
"i've never liked black coffee, i bought it once and it sucked. it's too bitter, honestly." he much preferred sweeter, creamier drinks like strawberry shakes. "what's a green tea smoothie anyways? is it exactly what it sounds like?" in which case, it sounded pretty alright.
