Happy Venus Day

Venus has been in Capricorn but will be ingressing into the second consecutive Saturn ruled sign of Aquarius on January 2. Venus does not have many comforts while in Capricorn although a natal Venus in Capricorn has its few tried and true things it adorns itself with. Last year the Venus retrograde was in the sign, housed with Pluto, so this feels like a story arch coming to a close- or simply starting a new chapter during this transit. Mercury stationed in the arms of Venus at 24° which was a touch of sweetness to the otherwise chaos that has been ensuring with Mars retrograde looking to a (now) Mercury retrograde. Flights delayed or canceled all together all over the world due to the rail strike and staffing shortages. The normal things that we rely on are up for debate and change thanks to Pluto being just a few degrees away too. Time has felt bendy as we're also in the between stage of a major holiday to the end of the Gregorian calendar year- a perfect Mercury stationing tell tale. I stand firm in trying not to overwhelm yourself at this time with New Years resolutions or plans. The more rushing that happens the more likely it is to go haywire or much more wonky than it otherwise would be. Rest is going to be needed as Venus meets Pluto on the first day of the year- also a classic "I drank too much/had too much fun and now I feel like pure death" transit. Don't be too hard on yourself. Happy Mars Day

Mars gets to the last few degrees of it's shadow over the next few weeks before it stations at 8° on January 12. The ruler of Mars is Mercury which has also begun its retrograde cycle mid December although will not station fully until 12/29 closely conjunct Pluto. If you have any plans for New Years eve, you better check and double check that the information you have is correct. Honestly double check everything this week as Mercury is slowing down to a crawl. There may be a lot of resolutions made or feeling rambunctious to start the new year strong but the astrology is asking us the exact opposite. Start 2023 out slow and steady- we all have 365 days to start our resolutions or something new whatever that may be for you when the time is right. Try to refrain from over planning anything because I can guarantee there will be a snafu. Go with the flow and try not to overthink what is happening around us from today forward. Especially if you're feeling triggered to "pop off". Mars in Gemini has been loving all the verbal quarrels while Mercury is sure to twist the words around. Joke world is about to commence in 3.....2.......1.......

Happy Mars Day

Mars has been retrograde in Gemini, for what feels like forever. Luckily we are out of the thick of it, having reached the halfway point about 2 weeks ago when the Sun and Mars opposed each other (the same aspext as a full Moon). If you look to the Eastern sky after sunset, you've been able to see Mars as a bright redish star trecking through the night sky. Mars will be stationing direct on January 12 at 8° of Gemini.

Jupiter also makes it's last ingress into Aries for the next 12 years or so, which is ruled by this Mars retrograde. From mid-May until the end of October Jupiter transited Aries to about 10° before stationing and moving back into the healing waters of Pisces. This will be the first taste of Jupiter in Aries looking to Mars, the ruler of Aries while it slows down to station in a few weeks. Aries tends to think with it's head before taking action, and looking to the combative planet that is in an air sign, I can only imagine what the Christmas table is going to look like for some folks. Being in the throes of the darkest part of the year, I think it is also important to keep our immune systems strong. I saw a lot of people getting some sort of illness over the last few weeks and especially after the Gemini full moon, having to do with their lungs which is ruled by Gemini. Stay hydrated and snack one some mandarins or any citrus of your choice to get a jolt of vitamin c. The Moon is also in its balsamic phase in the other Mars ruled sign of Scorpio with the South Node which feels suited for this time of year less than a week before Christmas... if you celebrate that. The last minute gift getting is real but don't let that sour your mood if you didn't get exactly what you wanted or if you see it in others as you are out. For now take advantage of Jupiter in whatever house Aries falls in your chart; Jupiter will expand that area of your life and any natal planets it comes in contact with. I know I will be enjoying this transit 🤑

Happy Mercury Day & Happy Full Moon

Mercury ingressed into Capricorn yesterday and out if it's detriment- into a more grounded thought process while sorting through the clutter Mars in Gemini has created. This Full Moon is conjunct Mars retrograde almost exactly which feels to me like a bubble being popped. Mars has been retrograding since October 30th and this conjunction with the Moon and opposition with the Sun simultaneously marks the halfway point in the Mars retrograde cycle story arch. The Moon has been stirring up big feelings- we're all feeling burnt out and restless. Not sleeping? You're not alone. Who is able to sleep no a days with Mars in the sky as soon as the sun sets? The answer is noone. If you are, then how are your dreams? Mine have been filled with discord and violence. Mutable placements are feeling it the most. Drink some water or tea, take some grounding breathes. The energy will wane but not until Venus Day when the Moon changes signs.

Happy Mars Day

Today marks the last Lunar Eclipse of the year, in the Taurus- Scorpio axis and it's an intense one. The Sun, Venus and Mercury are all in Scorpio, ruled by a Mars retrograde in Gemini while the Moon is exhalted in Taurus nestled in between the North Node and Uranus. There is mutual reception between Mars and Mercury, both looking to each other for rulership. Since the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio a few weeks ago, we have had big releases and purging come into our lives, and now the culmination of the full Moon is bringing a shake-up to the grounding we look to for comfort. This is the peak of the eclipse season whirlpool we've been in before heading into Sagittarius season, which will have it's own trials when those Scorpio planet then oppose Mars. It is also midterm election day in the US, which every astrologer has noted as a turning point for the country. If you feel on edge, anxious or your nervous system is just feeling frayed, you are not alone being tapped into this energy. Helpful tips to stay grounded are taking deep breathes or any form of meditative breathing techniques, drinking hot teas like camomile, writing down all your worries so they are not swirling around in your head, taking a walk in nature, staying off social media are just a few to start. As I noted the normal routine you use to find comfort may look a little different today but don't be too fixed on the one thing that you usually do for relief; I can almost gurantee you may be forced out of that by Uranus so close to the moon. As Austin Coppock famously says, it is only history we are seeing unfold in front of us. Ride the eclipse wave- see ya on the other side.

Happy Moon Day

The morning starts with the Moon in fall transiting the last few degrees of Capricorn beforing moving into Aquarius in the afternoon. Halloween weekend was anything but celebratory and that continues to start the week. If you had fun with your Halloween festivities and Magick, that is wonderful, while another other parts of the world grieve the mass loss of life- like in South Korea, India, Iran and Ukraine. The Moon taps into that detachment nature of Aquarius by seeing these headlines after the excitement has simmered down to face the truth .

The veil is the thinnest it will be all year of course...

After the Moon moves into Saturn's daytime domicile, holding the task master himself, the first quarter waxing phase of this eclipse season brings in some tension. The Moon will trine a freshly stationed Mars in Gemini while squaring the Scorpio axis holding all of our personal planets and Uranus (in Taurus). We are on the precipice of change that will shake and confuse us. Midterm elections are next week timed up perfectly with the Taurus lunar eclipse.

Happy Saturn Day

Saturn is currently retrograde in Aquarius applying to an opposition to the Sun. Our fun summer activities have a big rain cloud looming over head. Covid is spiking along side MPX all over the US which surely puts a damper on any plans with the summer coming to an end, and winter looming closer. Astrologers have noted the continuous pattern of Mars square Saturn triggering covid variants and with Mars' elongated stay in Gemini, it will be trining Saturn. Saturn has been calling the shots and continues to put us through what needs to be fortified going forward. Especially in a sign like Aquarius where Saturn is rebellious in ways shake up the old world order to bring stable change. Saturn is in his diurnal domicile in ancient astrology while Uranus is the modern ruler of Aquarius. By the beginning of next year Saturn will be out of Aquarius and into Pisces...and Neptune land.

Happy Venus Day

We're getting a spicy first Venus Day as she moved into Leo yesterday afternoon before that hefty Saturian full Moon. Considering the Sun now rules Venus, she was able to see both ends of the coin for this lunation. Venus is Leo is gonna be a little loud at first; striving for that extragant party with all the friends she's met along the way and the booze flowing freely. The Sun will move into Virgo, the sign of her fall, and then oppose Saturn during her trek. This feels like big boundaries around the things we find pleasure in when all we wanna do is dance and carry on without the burdens of the world. Saturn is here to remind us of that bill that's been racking up that we honestly just forgot about while caught up in the festivities of late summer. Venus rules Taurus, where Uranus-Rahu still reside (Mars is on its way out) so will be squaring these planets creating some tension around the resources that Uranus and Rahu normally look for in this house. This feels like restrictions and even more food shortages with Saturn in the mix. Maybe the price of foods going up more than they have. Be cautious about splurging too much around the things you think you need right now, especially with the trine to retrograde Jupiter in Aries over the weekend. That should not stop you from having fun with this trine from the two benefics but proceed with an air of caution not to go over board with Saturn on the horizon.

Happy Mercury Day

Mercury moves into its nighttime domicile of Virgo early tomrrow morning and we are in some MUTUAL RECEPTION woot woot 🥳

Mutual reception is when a planet that rules a specific house has ventured home. The Sun rules Leo; Mercury rules Virgo; Saturn rules Aquarius; Venus doesn't rule Cancer but is very at home in the warm and moist environment. This may not necessarily mean "good things" but among the chaos of Mars-Uranus-Rahu, it feels like we have a grasp of what needs to happen and how we can get there. During it's jaunt in it's homeland, Mercury will be opposing Neptune trining the heavy hitters of Uranus and Rahu, trining Pluto in Capricorn and a blip of a square to Mars when it enters Gemini before Mercury changes signs at the end of the month. The tools it has at home are boundless and we will be using those tools through the rest of the month after the shake up the first week.

Happy Venus Day

Venus is currently in Cancer reaching an opposition to Pluto, which is the opposite sign it was during it's entire retrograde period in Dec 2021- early 2022. This Venus is ruled by the Moon that renewed in Leo just a few days ago. It's feeling a little hot and bothered, reaching an opposition to Saturn before going into Virgo early tomorrow morning EST. This Venus Day feels feisty and ready to party. Enjoy today while you can to prepare for the Mars to meet Uranus on August 1.

Happy Jupiter Day

Jupiter has been in Aries, slowly covering ground in the first decan but will retrograde shortly after the Leo full Moon, at 8°, creating a wide fire trine as the Moon renews. Any manifestation work around this Moon feels like it could be delayed but not impossible to achieve. With the square & opposition action and the greater benefic very very S L O W, beware of that instant gratification that Leo thrives in when working with this new Moon magick. Leo's need to be seen, they're ruled by the Sun which is the brightest star in our solar system so not getting the attention they desire is detrimental....to everyone. The spot light could be brighter for this new Moon, but it's a little askew with Jupiter. Wherever Aries is in your chart has been expanding and receiving that extra push from Jupiter but now it will start contracting as Jove backtracks through Aries to about 28° Pisces. The ruler of Jupiter is Mars in Taurus which is now in sight of Uranus/Rahu. Although there is not a smooth communication for these two since they are only a house away(the only aspect is a loose semi-sextile), I am imagining Jove pounding on the walls next door because of how loud the stellium in Taurus is being but it is being equally as loud for the other planets while trying to get the attention of the house ruler. With any retrograde, this one is meant to be an introspective, one looking at everything Jupiter has blessed you with to this point. What can you let go of in order to bring a new wave of abundance once Jupiter goes direct? Contraction and filtering are good words to keep in mind.

I have been loving Jupiter in Aries since it has brought lots of abundance to my second house but I can already feel the contraction of my bank account this week leading up to this point. Jupiter is going to have a lot in store for me during this time.

Mercury is in Leo approaching an opposition to Saturn and a sqaure to Uranus/Rahu. Leo is ruled by the Sun, also in Leo so we could be LOUD and overbearing when it comes to communication && messages. We just want people to just get us right?!?! That opposition to Saturn feels like a heavy hand coming down on our fun and games, with a harsh reality check. Have you been neglecting your daily routine or duties to opt for wild nights out with friends? Saturn is here to put a stop to that. Uranus/Rahu starts the conversation to abruptly change the directive while Saturn makes the final blow. There is still fun to be found, it's Leo season of course, but watch your step going forward; the ground you are on is unstable.

Mars has been cruising in Taurus, getting closer to Uranus and Rahu, or the North Node. Big things are happening having to do with our food supply, climate, infrastructure and other Tauruan topics that have always been stable. Are you ready for a big change? Probably not since Taurus is not apt to change in an instant with someone pushing and pulling for it to move, it has to be on it own at the right moment. The ruler of Taurus is Venus in Cancer that has squared Jupiter in Aries and will be trining the South Node. Mars-Uranus-Rahu feels big; climatic changes that that bring people together to nurture their wounds and realizing we are all human in the vastness of space ( have you been seeing the pictures coming from the James Webb space telescope?) For context the last time that Mars Uranus met in 2021, before Rahu went into Taurus, a drunk driver hit my parked park in the middle of the night totalling it. Mars is force and Uranus is abrupt change. In a stable sign of Taurus, having always had transportation, I found myself out of a car for a period of time. This feels like that but amplified with Rahu. Every astrologer has been looking at this conjunction with despair but we will get through it no matter how crunchy it feels at the time. I have my predictions how I see this conjunction going but will wait and see how it plays out. The exact alignment is August 1, but we will defiently be feeling the building of this energy, like a volcano ready to erupt. As I have repeated many times, stay grounded in the chaos

Happy Mars Day

Mars moved in Taurus early this morning but not before making a final statement at 29° Aries with an eruption of gun violence on a day of celebration for America. The last time Mars was at this anaratic degree in 2020 was the capital riots, just for context. There's a lot of energy behind this degree for Mars. Now that it's in Taurus, there is a a strategic plan in the works for Mars, ruled by a Venus in Gemini. For the first two weeks of Mars in this sign, there is a calmness to it on the outside....until it gets closer to rebellious Uranus and the North Node. That is not to saw that nothing is going to happen until then, but plans are being made and worked out leading up to this point. Gather the tools you need for this because it is sure to be explosive and unlike we have seen for a long time.

Mercury is out of it's shadow, still in it's domicile sign of Gemini, approaching the last decan to form a square to Neptune and a trine to Saturn. All of these planets are strong in their sign trying to communicate what agenda they are following; Mercury's trine to Saturn feels like Saturn's way of trying to keep things in order by communicating what needs to be followed and creating boundaries around what is best & fair for everyone (Aquarius). But that square to Neptune is like if the megaphone that Saturn is using is garbled and you can only hear every other word of the speech Saturn has so tirelessly worked on. There is some confusion to what the agenda actually means- swaying in either extreme I will add. The overturning of Roe V. Wade is a hot topic that the story continues to amplify over the next few days with Mars square Pluto and Saturn trying to communicate order but it's a little hazy to what that actually means. Mercury moves into Cancer next week on Mars Day.

Feeling angry, burnt out, or just wanna burn eveything down? Yeah same. But that's also Mars in Aries forming a square to Pluto in Capricorn. Open the news and you'll see death, destruction and chaos right now. I don't have much good news about this transit, expect that it is exact on Friday and will start to separate after that and Mars will go into Taurus, another adventure itself with Uranus and the North Node getting closer to one another. This seems like a prelude for a lot of what is in store for the United States as a country. This square is exactly on the US Sibly charts Pluto return so feels like a big turning point; the 4th of July is right around the corner but what do we really have to celebrate if our freedoms are being taken away? Just something to ponder and not using the day as an excuse to get drunk and have the day off of work. Use that day off productively.
