[ I think Wander would use exclamation marks and have lots of run-on sentences, ( if he was excited about the subject ), and there would be a lot of capitalization!! And I would imagine his handwriting would be pretty loopdy-loop-y when he feels like bein’ fancy/creative, but normally, it’s decent-sized and bubbly. If he was recording his adventures, he’d be exceptionally descriptive, for he would want to a) read the journal when he’s older and reflect on them or b) he’s just normally descriptive or c) he wishes to provide insight and detail to whomever may come across it. Who knows? Maybe one day when the book is full, he’ll leave it somewhere, somewhen and someone will open it. Maybe a certain curly-haired dude will come across it and turn it into a rad cartoon series!~ -boink boink- ]
[ Well, I think after Wander meets Trudi Traveler and all “The Tourist” stuff happens, he becomes a much more stop-and-smell-the-roses kind-of fella. Which leads me to believe that as the series continues, he’ll become a bit more relaxed, i.e. like Sketchbook!Wander. Maybe Sketchbook!Wander is just future/older!Wander, especially because in some pictures Sylvia isn’t there dun dun dunn. And, y’know, his hat’s a little droopier and his fur is longer and he just looks more well-traveled, I guess. aNYWAYS !! time-wasting habits!!!! So, in Sylvia’s perspective, I think that stopping to smell all the gardens and all the weeds, wanting to chat with everyone, and constantly needing to quench his curiosity are pretty time-consuming habits. Plus, y’know, returning a sock turned out to be a ginormous quest, but I think that Sylvia and Wander saw that even the smallest acts of kindness can mean a whole bundle to someone and turn their frown upside down, so it was ultimately worth it!! ]
❅ - keeping warm/keeping cool techniques
[ Okay, so hugs, scarves, puffy coats, hot cocoa, blanket burritos, cuddles, and just plain ‘ol Sylvia are his methods to staying warm, and in order to keep cool, he initiates a water balloon war, goes for a swim, finds a tree that offers some nice shade and takes a nap, climbs a tree and plays his banjo on a branch, and/or drinks some refreshing juice! ]
✎ - taste in music/literature
[ I believe Wander is into everything!! Disco songs, smooooth songs, upbeat songs, hardcore metal songs, opera - he’d be able to see the beauty in all types of music and find them fascinating, at the very least! ( See “The Prisoner” for some explanation to that headcanon. ) Okay, when it pertains to literature, Wander loves books about adventure and sappy romance and friendship!! He can’t really get too engrossed in novels about morality and philosophy and theology, cause while it is interesting and it peaks his curiosity - as long as he’s wandering alongside his best, blue buddy, he’s pretty content, so he doesn’t really care Who put him there, but he sure is grateful he is, if you understand what I’m saying! So basically, he’s more Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and maybe even The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings than Wicked or Catcher in the Rye or The Divine Comedy. However, I think he could definitely - not necessarily enjoy but - digest Frankenstein or To Kill a Mockingbird or Anne Frank’s Diary, but I’m uncertain if racism/discrimination/etc. is alive and well in his universe, but !!! yeah! I think those books would cause him a lot of sadness due to the protagonists’ plights. ]
