“You forget what you want to remember, and you remember what you want to forget.”
— Cormac McCarthy
I used to think survival was enough. Now I want more: I want peace that stays, love that nourishes, and a life that feels like it was made for me.
“You don’t find love, it finds you. It’s got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, and what’s written in the stars.”
— Anaïs Nin
If they won't hold your hand, don't let them hold your heart.
Hello, it’s been a long minute. I haven’t really posted on here pandemic. There is so much that has happened in my life but this is more about my journey to self love. I have gone through a rough patch and was able to dig myself out of it. I’m not exactly in love with myself but I’m more satisfied than ever before. I’ve definitely came a long way and I taught myself to never settle for less or for comfort. We all need to learn how to stop over thinking things and take the risk. That’s where I’m still learning. I’m still trying to find myself and figure out the things I once loved and might love. I learned to never doubt your worth because in the end life is about making mistakes, not being perfect, and being able to stay true to who you are. You are your own enemy and you have a huge fight with yourself to figure out what is your purpose and why you do it. You need to be able to learn to set yourself free. Don’t let anything get in your way or be blinded by what seems to be comfortable because there’s honestly no fun in that. Do you.

Oh how I wished I saw it with the sound of a stream. The view was still breathtaking.
JUST HOLDING ON //

I woke up this morning scared. Scared for the people, my family and for myself. This year is really something. We have been at home for some time due the pandemic, scared to get in contact with anyone who have had the virus. Now it's not just the virus... I'm scared of the outside world that has been protesting for a colored man who has been killed on the streets. They have created violent actions towards our community that we have built over the decades to provide for ourselves in the future, for our generations. Why do they have to take it amongst our community? why not on themselves. Hate is amongst the people. I grew up in a community with all types of race. Learning that different colors would dislike the other. Racism is amongst yourself. What justice are you all looking for? What type of solution are trying to find? When this is all over, we will still walk out black and white. Our communities will all still have the same fear. Our people will still feel the same fear that I am feeling right now. If you are looking for freedom, you are in the wrong country, this country is civilized. We have laws, ammendments, & constitutions. Why? because it is to protect yourself, your families, & our country! From what? from the people doing wrong. The people taught wrong! And who exactly was taught wrong? you, me, and everyone else. But who's fault was that? Do you know exactly these laws & etc was established? from your voices! You all hate on one man who did nothing to help protect our country from chaos then you hate on everyone who has voted for him! Who exactly is that? probably your neighbor, your friend, or even maybe your family. Why is one man's fault for this chaos. You should blame yourself. You created this chaos. You had a choice, you had a vote, you could have influence but you chosen chaos. We have the freedom to vote, we have the freedom to be heard, we all have the freedom to influence but you made the choice to teach your kids to hate, to teach yourself to hate. Stop blaming other's people for the mistake that one man caused. We all make mistakes. We are all black and white. The officer who chosen to kill, that was his mistake, that was his choice. He will live in fear. He will live with hate. Do not let our new generation live in chaos, to create the same mistake this man made. Let us live in peace, love & unity.
Now
I honestly don't ever want to rewind back in time I can just say that I am so fckn proud of who I've become! I have made smarter decisions and want better things in life. Trust me when I use to say that I was so careless and wanted to live the momment but I can't dilly dally. I'm born to give life to someone I care so much about and I want to be able to give that someone a good life! We change for the good, to better ourselves. We make plans to only achieve the right things and we pray that it will all go well. Stay tuned...
Stay Ready
I'm ready for a leap of faith. More so I'm ready to take up upportunities that will change our lives forever. Let's do this 2019! You ready for me?!
I use to be crazy and spontaneous. I use to love doing crazy fun adventures. I use to write in my journal all the time. I use to love finding new parks to go to just to chill and hang around. I use to love singing, playing guitar, ukulele & piano. I use to love taking pictures and so many more things. I think I lost myself along the way. I lost a part of myself. A whole chunk.
I’ve changed and I’m not entirely sure if I like it.
