Well that was certainly… an accent.  “Corona?” he asked, sounding like even he was unsure.  He waved a hand at the city.  “You crossed that huge bridge and you don’t even know where it went?”

“I’m not familiar with the area.” He knew he had an accent, one apparently very different from any around here. He shrugged with one of his grins, “And I wasn’t going to get any answers from speaking to squirrels.”

Something had gone wrong in the latest reset. He didn’t even recognize where he was much less when he was. He could have ended up anywhere or anywhen. Stumbling around had him finally coming out of the trees to see a castle on a hill and a city sprawled beneath it.

Leaning against the bridge wall, he had to simply stare ignoring those that passed him by. Well that wasn’t what he was expecting. “Toto, we’re not in Korea anymore.”

He’d been returning to town when he saw the man; he looked like he was sick, or at least lost and confused. Eugene paused for a moment.

“...need some help there?” he asked, making sure the guy saw him approaching.  No need for a reflexive attack.
