ADMIN won't let me leave the square until I put something here so I guess I have to??? Uh...

I'm Asahi! I'm a Warrior from Pugilis but these days I have to travel a lot because it's hard to find a place to settle down for longer than a month. I have two linked Pokemon with me, Tuff Stuff the Wigglytuff and Gunky the Croagunk. ADMIN is also here but I don't really know what he is or why he keeps following me around.

Uh... Usually I'm in Terrera, but when it gets too busy to try to go to Ignis. But I can't stay in Ignis, I have work to do and I don't want their Warlord to find me like this.

Am I done talking to the square now? I'm hungry.

Okay I watched a documentary (imagine a historical scripture but the words are sounded out loud and the pictures move. Because technology) about the wars of Ransei and I have a question. Why did kingdoms have almost entirely one Pokemon type in them. Gym leaders are kind of like that but they mostly present challenges to kids they're not trying to defend entire nations. Why didn't Poison Land just move in next to Grass Land and just mess up their shit.

So I'm from a noble family in Pugilis where we train Fighting types because we have years and years of experience training them and we know everything about how to train them. Other Noble families do the same thing in their Kingdoms because trying to veer off and train a Pokemon that you might not even really be attuned to is stupid. Also a lot of nobility can Link with Pokemon, but only a certain Type or two because that's how it works.

The reason that a Viperia house doesn't "move in" next to the Greenleaf territory is because that spot is already taken by like 5 other kingdoms, and if it tries to take out one of those kingdoms, they'll fight back, and if THEY can't fight back, they'll reach out to their allies to fight back and then it becomes an even BIGGER war, and Viperia is a bunch of cowards who can't even try to fight in broad daylight

My friend said that Greenleaf should get beat up anyway but that's not the point of the post

Makes sense. The whole "if you fight out ally we'll fight you" thing can go really badly wrong but that's like idk 500ish years out from your time maybe so you're probably fine

How are kingdoms supposed to keep their allies if they can't even fight for each other?? Just because something isn't perfect doesn't mean that it's not useful also shut up

Well, where I am it's for survival aspects but also for bonding with your pokemon

I think?? Most do it to bond with their pokemon?? And also because many pokemon enjoy battling, it's enrichment for them

There's probably plenty of other reasons too, but I can't remember them right now

Well survival reasons is obvious everyone's gonna have to fight to survive SOMETIMES. That's a given.

Do Pokemon actually LIKE battling though?? I mean like, my Pokemon enjoy sparring, but battling is entirely different. It's a whole lot more dangerous than just sparring or we wouldn't be Battling to conquer kingdoms. Do you guys like doing stuff that could actually hurt you really bad?

didn't want to make this post because i thought it was self evident. if you're an aspiring martial artist on a quest to confront the clan who burned your village down as a kid, you shouldn't be worried about people named shit like sun biling with flying loops, the heavenly foot of ten thousand swords clan, or even weeping demon of the forbidden devil's palm technique. you should be worried about jianfei, the guy who dresses and looks completely normal and doesn't boast of his clan or technique. this guy will absolutely rock your shit. i know you think you're invincible after learning 5 of the 10 silent palm techniques but this guy is why your shifu no longer teaches the remaining 5. submit or be cut down effortlessly like the reed you are.
