he was never that bright

BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH AN AU bc my friends and i have been discussing blackstar aus for weeks now and i always loved blackstar designs with the face colored in but i dig black and white designs that much so obviously siamese was the right choice. ive had his blackfoot phase sketched out in my notebook for weeks now but only now ive got around to actually designing his fur evolution

so- siamese blackstar. hear me out

As a warrior he was never that bright- he was only made deputy because he was buff and would execute any order. He followed Brokenstar and Tigerstar- 2 brown tabbies. So by the time his face started turning brown he was like “so cool! i get to look like my leaders!!”

as he slowly began to realize that tigerstar and brokenstar were evil people he began to hate his brown fur, reminding him not only of the cruel leaders he followed, but of the crimes he did while under their reign. The markings were a living reminder on his face of the awful things hes done and had to live with. He could wash away the blood from his paws but not his markings. (he even goes as far as to try to sunbleach himself, resulting in him falling sick a couple of times from overexposure to the sun)

acceptance is the first step to healing- after sols abuse he makes amends with those in starclan who he wronged (check video below :3) he no longer hates his markings, as he doesnt associate them with the previous shadowclan leaders anymore.
