There is a Chinese poem that says the eyes are bright, seeing things is like looking at glass bottle, a look through, insight everything; The heart is calm and magnanimous, like the waves of water disappear, not worry, no persistence.
A door to another world?

You are good at finding the details of life that are easily overlooked, and taking photos of ordinary scenes with artistic beauty
An abstract tree, an art tree on social media. Eight branches around a tree trunk, great typography

I remember like Georges Perec...
I remember that stretched time, the summer holidays, playing with the shadows that became so many imaginary characters and accompanied my long days, from dawn to dusk.
I remember naps lulled by the sound of cicadas, readings, cakes, daisies picked, the stream of water, the grass stuck on my skin. I remember the baths, the evening spiders and the late bedtime. And it all started again the next day and the days after, with the same magic.
I remember that time that was not counted, often even lost in a light reverie and the deep freedom it brought me. I remember dreaming that it never stopped…
Very meaningful post. I have to assume that the language is your language not Perec’s as there are no quotation marks or italics. Either way you are onto something about the relationship of image to text. Keep going!
The colors are very consistent, and the hand looks like a sculpture, like a work of art
Hosting the sun
Sunlight Through A Window by Hazel Hall
"Beauty streamed into my hand
In sunlight through a pane of glass;
Now at last I understand
Why suns must pass.
I have held a shadow, cool
Reflection of a burning gold,
And it has been more beautiful
Than hands should hold.
To that delicate tracery
Of light, a force my lips must name
In whispers of uncertainty,
Has answered through me in a flame.
Beauty is the core of fire
To reaching hands; even its far
Passing leaves a hurt desire
Like a scar.”
Your photographs speak loudly with out the poem, but the poem is a nice gift to accompany them as you “Host the Sun”. Your idea of hosting the sun can become a theme, amongst others. I like you establishing your relationship with the sun by inviting it into your space.
Contrast of sunshine and shadow, same color and material can have so big difference under different light
# Spring flavor 1
Beautiful photos and fresh colors, this is the feeling of spring
