I wish t4c relationships among trans men and mascs werent so demonized. Ive never been in one, truth be told I haven't been in a relationship in 4 years and it was online. However it seems really mean to tell a marginalized group of people who are already bascially trained to be embarassed and insecure and to feel shame about who they are and how they look and to tell them "nobody in this demographic will ever truly love you. They will only ever take advantage of you and they will only ever hurt you. You will not be loved by them, you will not be cherished, you're a fetish or a compromise, nothing more" idk, it just seems so horribly mean and its so often perpetuated by people within our communities. I understand it to a degree. Safety around cis men is always important, especially in close relationship...but cis men treat other cis people in the ways trans men are so often told exempts them from being loved by cis men. Its not fair to single us out as being unlovable. Its also a form of victim blaming in a way, and transphobia. The "trans people are unlovable" rhetoric really isnt any better when its going undercover in our own communities.
