I finally found some cats to adopt and I will be picking them up on Saturday and I have never felt so unprepared in my life.

We’ve always had cats at home, for my whole life, and I suddenly feel like I know nothing.

I’m so anxious and worried that there might be something wrong with them and that the previous owner lied to me or hid something. Or that I suddenly realize I can’t afford to take care of them or that they start destroying all of my stuff.

And I was planning on going to the pet store to get some of the essentials but every day of the week so far I had to stay longer at work until after the store closed. So I’m even more worried that I will have to bring the cats into a completely unprepared environment.
