✨i’m currently reading the decameron by giovanni boccaccio. it begins with a group of ten people fleeing the city of florence during the black death. over the course of several weeks, they tell each other stories-from comedic stories to tragic ones to everything in between.

✨it’s really good, and the easiest way to read to read it is one story at a time. there are 100 stories in total-each of the ten people tell one story per day, and the storytelling lasts for 10 days (with pauses for sundays and holy days)

Therefore, I send my love and support to every single one of you. You’ve got this. You are almost over the slump. Keep working hard, but don’t forget to take care of yourselves. Take those well-needed breaks. Eat that bag of candy to stay sane. Reach out to your educators if you are struggling and stressed. Just keep trucking and drinking your room temperature coffee (and make sure to add in that proper title before submission). ;) <3
