Out of my comfort zone

Never have I EVER thought I would be the weight I am now. Never thought I would become so lazy, tired, hungry, and pathetic. Maybe that’s my problem. The view I see myself has affected my weight, my habits, and my lack of motivation to do better for myself. They say it is just a number on the scale. I don’t want to be THIS number. I want to be a lot of numbers less. I want to be comfortable and happy. I have a long road ahead of me and it’s not going to be easy, it’s not going to be fun, and it sure as hell won’t be over in a day. Any progress is good progress and it starts right now.

i work at a gym largely frequented by older women, and today as one of them left after her workout she accidentally pulled the entire door handle off and just slowly looked at her bicep in horror as if she was terrified of her new strength. it was beautiful.
