As much as I do adore the Suselle dynamic (which I do very very much), chapter 6 really needs to start having some payoff now that the will-they/won't-they is done. I need to see them have either casual fun as a couple or for it to start having some friction. The Chapter 5 stuff was the payoff to the flirty era of their relationship to me
Just saw art on the Deltarune subreddit, also cross-posted to the Undertale subreddit, of Pink getting explicitly sexually assaulted. Pink says no to the soul's advances, the soul forces her arms apart and kisses her against her will. It's framed as a positive thing/a joke because because Pink secretly wanted it. 600 upvotes on both subreddits. Almost nothing but positive comments and people saying how they wish they could do that to her too. I get downvoted and called sensitive for pointing out how disgusting it is. While both these posts remain up, a post on misogyny regarding Pink in the fandom is not being approved to go up when it's normally instant.
I've had my gripes with the Deltarune fandom before, but now it's gone from slimy to outright concerning. We now have fans actively fantasising about sexually assaulting a trans woman and nobody is saying or doing anything about it. Most anime fandoms are better than this.
I just found out there's an entire subreddit dedicated to shipping Pink and the Soul. None of the art acknowledges Pink being lesbian. None of it gives Pink a character. The player is always presented as male. The sexual assault art has 6k upvotes.
I feel a little ill. This fandom is revolting. Pink is such an amazing character. I don't think men should be allowed to engage with her at all.

Is it weird to get a little emotional about the fact we're probably not going to see Starwalker again in Deltarune? Like, I know it's stupid, and it's a stupid joke, but it's a joke that's been around for most of my sentient life. I'll miss you, funky yellow guy.

Maybe a controversial take from me but, while I like the reading of the character fine enough and have absolutely nothing against it, I don't agree with transmasc Spamton, but rather view him as detrans transfem
Spamton's masculinity is not presented as a positive. The NEO body, the promised ideal of masculinity, is a literal prison for Spamton. Spamton is unpopular and unsuccessful while presenting fem but becomes radically successful when abandoning that and conforming to the salesman aesthetic of the other Addisons. Spamton gives Kris the ThornRing, a symbol of the security and pain caused by heteronormativity. Spamton, a man, is emblematic of everything Kris does not want to be while his foil, Pink, has her entire fight be about self realisation through transfemininity
I could go into this in more detail because I have more to say on it but I like this reading a lot more for what it adds to the narrative
I don't buy into any theories that Ralsei is a normal object and haven't since the chapter 2 era. That includes Ralsei being a Plantner. If that was the case, we would know already. That isn't super interesting or grand of a reveal to leave so long. Ralsei needs to be something fucky like a Goner or Depthsner or Titan Spawn.
People are exclusively using the new Pink balance patches to objectify her more!! Yay, wahoo!! Let's not talk about the game design or added difficulty, let's just forget all criticisms people had of the fight so we can reduce her to a fuck toy!! WOOOOOO!!! I LOVE THIS FANDOM!!!!
