Im already working on the new pages but it'll take a while to make due to college! Hopefully I can finish it soon, this comic is very fun for me to draw, even more when I read people's takes on the characters!
I'm also working on the redesigns of other characters! Aym and Baal's new designs are already in thsi comic, they are way more detached from the cult since Adam wants them to just be kids. They also have a strained relationship with Narinder due to Narinder's emo shit.
This was inspired by when i found out the Goat has a INCREDIBLY DEEP VOICE???? LIKE HUH????
Also, if you find his name weird, it's because I chose the name of the angel/demon of destruction! I keep looking for names for their roles, like, Adam is the one that committed the original sin (in this case, defying gods and killing them), Eve, the crown, is the one that indulged him into doing it.
Miguel is the archangel, considered the leader of God's army! And so on! Though don't read much into it since I'm not well versed in religions :"^
Lambs being hunt down cuz of a stupid prophecy that they ended up making
So
Before that
A rabbit (yes I've made an oc again) kit washed up at the chore, and was rescued and adopted by a family of lambs/sheep. They served a god and all that.
The rabbit's name is Miguel, and he ended up with the Lamb from the story, who's name was Adam.
The sheep were pretty much pacifists, taught Miguel their ways and all. But soon, they were being hunt down with no reason given, they suspected their God had fallen and the others were enraged with their ways. People refused to help them, and those who did were killed.
Soon, it was only Miguel and Adam left, they were in their 20s when the lamb got caught.
They lived by stealing and hiding, so one day Miguel went out to hunt or steal some food, when he got back, he found their hut DESTROYED. Fire still going.
They got Adam. His brother.
Then the story divides in two paths.
Miguel felt incredible guilt over not being there with Adam, he felt like he could help, like he would've at least died with him.
One day, drunk as hell, he was hungry, and decided to go steal some food.
He ended up at Chemach's "temple" and stole something, thinking it was food, Chemach got PISSED. She wanted to kill him, but he begged her to do so, to end his suffering.
She decided death would be too sweet on this thief. She instead cursed him, ripping out his heart and taking his mortality from him. From now on, he would have the same weaknesses as mortals, but would live forever. No matter what hurt him, no matter how he tried to die, his body would always regenerate back to its original state of when he was cursed.
(For example, if he was set on fire, his skin would melt, his eyes would pop, but he wouldn't die, he would have to suffer the long process until his body was fully recovered. So like, months of torture.)
After much time lamenting, he decided to do something with his long life, study, train, try to leave something for people that aren't capable to do so.
He started studying magic, curses, rituals and immortality. Applying actual science to it, he went so far in his studies that he ended up catching a glimpse of the big picture.
The crowns are just keepers of thoughs, they came from something bigger and incomprehensible to mortals. The crowns exist to choose a mortal, and keep the concept of what they represent, alive.
Like the red crown, it's death. It keeps its host alive to the spreading the words of the concept of death, therefore keeping the concept alive. Like a tulpa.
Takes place in the before-Shamura and mass dissention arc. I think the menticide mushrooms would react horrifically combined with godhood. Instead of seeing things that aren't real, they see real things they're not supposed to

this update kicked my ass, it's only 13 pages, but i'm so unused to drawing the disciples and their more detailed outfits that this took much longer than i wanted. i miss the lamb and their triangle fleece :(
this update is titled "Aron and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day". he just learnt about the whole cannibalism thing but he barely cares because the guy he's been in love with for decades just had half his face melted off.
