So I haven’t had any animatic inspo in months and FINALLY had this idea! I love exploring Vaggi and Lute’s dynamic so this was pretty fun to make.

So I decided to take my drawing tablet to a few computer repair shops to see if they could figure out how to fix it after I was literally troubleshooting it almost all day yesterday.

The first shop I went to the dude basically said “I have no clue what this is have you tried asking ChatGPT?” which is a little crazy to me cuz anything ai would tell me I did by just reading from an actual website. Also I told him I don’t use ChatGPT and he kinda tried lecturing me and debating me about it even tho I said it was just my personal preference 😭

Also he kept saying “it’s not showing up as a device” and I’m sitting there thinking “yeah that’s the problem that’s why I’m here” ya know I was there so you could help me fix that problem. It’s whatever tho I understand that drawing tablets aren’t super common and I’m glad he at least admitted he didn’t know what he could do to fix it. I’m just saying he sounded kinda condescending talking to me about it like I’m stupid or something.

Going there did give me one answer that the problem is probably my tablet and not pc cuz it didn’t connect to his pc either. I took it to another repair shop and the guy there still seemed unsure of what the drawing tablet even was but said he would try and figure out what’s wrong with it.

If all else fails maybe I’ll try Micro Center since they deal with more of a variety of tech than these local repair shops do. They are pretty far away tho so I was hoping I didn’t have to do that. Also idk how much they would know either and I’d hate to drive out and no one there can figure it out either.

Anyways I hope this repair shop it’s at now works out.

Yeah idk what happened to my drawing tablet. It works on my friend’s laptop and all the ports on my PC work. The 2 devices are just refusing to connect to each other specifically. I contacted Huion’s customer support to see if they have an answer but I’m waiting for a reply. My IPad is still shattered so I guess I’ll be all traditional art till I get this figured out

Thought I was gonna be drawing during my little bday staycation but I guess my PC decided to take a shit on me and just reject my drawing tablet. I’ve been troubleshooting for hours now and nothing works. Have no clue what I’m gonna do cuz the tablet itself is fine it worked on my friend’s laptop. The ports on the Pc are all fine cuz they all work for my main monitor. My PC is literally just rejecting my drawing tablet for some reason so now I’m just waiting for Huion customer service to get back to me.

I liked this comment on the ask about Vaggi's hair a lot. It was fun to show Blue Charlie being goofy without any malice for once.

Vaggi and Charlie's relationship is a little different in this AU, but they're still each other's best friend. They spend almost all of their time together, and Vaggi is the only Exorcist who sees Charlie's softer, goofier side outside of work. The difference is striking, and it gives Vaggi whiplash.

Okay so this was so fun to draw. I wanted to make some Cowgirl art but this piece in general was super fun to make. I was trying out a little different rendering technique and learning how to draw cowboy hats 😅 ‘twas fun. Also she just came out looking really cool so I’m happy about that.
