So Today, I just bought the Maschine to add to my arsenal for production. Costed an arm and a leg for me, especially with my financial state. The library that comes with Maschine is vast and has all the quality drums anyone needs. I suggest anyone who is into making beats, start with a Maschine. The MPC is fun and focused, but having to session your beats with your DAW is way more important when you are creating full songs.

Ethereal Motion is a hip hop beat inspired track encompassed by abstract combinations of ghost-like sounds. From every knocking kick to the crisp snaps that fill the scene, this song is sure to make any listener groove. 'When I made this track I wanted to achieve a wider non-crushed hip hop beat that had a good sense of dynamic range. I took some of the same drums from the kit I used on one of my older compilations 'Rhythm and Development (2010) and incorporated the background melody through resampling and playing through keys to give a more original taste to the sample. I did this same type of play with 'Daze' (2010) but I feel this track does more justice in terms of experience and song variance. I want to make a shout out to Justin Corral (my band-mate in Yourself In Peace), Paul Echiverri, Dave Hendrickson, David De Vera, Joey Dizon, Joseph Koudsi, My family (mom dad sis john), my fellow engineers at SAE, and to everyone who still believes in me and my goals as an artist/sound engineer.' - Westley Ulit / wave Groove

Woke up at 6am, cut traffic, and now i'm here looking forward to a long productive day. All of a sudden there is this big set of cameras, actors, and rich snobs right in front of the building. I asked the one of the 'teamster' dudes what this was about. They are filming a TV show called Ray Donovan. It's plot has to do about some rich guy doing rich LA guy stuff - and this was made not too long ago; entourage. All non sense if you ask me.
