Emilie beamed, tickling the little oneâs tummy. If heaven was a real place, a place the blonde were to end up one day, there was no aspect of it she would be able to appreciate after experiencing times like this. This was her heaven; her paradise. âWell you look absolutely beautiful, mon petit!â Emi said with a smile before reaching up to gently run her fingers through Waverlyâs hair. âThank you..â
âNaturally. Sheâs your baby,â she tells her. Extra cheesy points. She was making the most out of this day indeed. Emilieâs fingers in her hair made a shiver travel down her spine and caused blood to rush to her cheeks, surely giving them a light pink shade. âAnything for you,â she says, resting her forehead on the otherâs. âYou still make me blush every time.â

Smiling when she heard the cries subside, Emilie was already halfway done with a pancake. It was without a doubt the best breakfast sheâd ever had, mostly because she didnât have to lift a finger to eat it. However she was fully awakened when Waverly brought Adelaide into the room, her heart melting for the thousandth time at the sight. âYes she did, and it is delicious..â she confirmed with a grin, leaning over to kiss the babyâs forehead multiple times. âSomeone has a new outfit!â
âYay! Mommy likes it!â Waverly cheers, using her finger that Adelaide immediately grabbed onto to lift her tiny arm up. In response, Adelaide kicked and smiled, cooing at the excitement. Mornings like these were what she lived for. A nice breakfast with her family was the best possible way to start the day of love. âYes she does, from grandma and grandpa, who incessantly nagged me to make her wear it today. There are kisses on it so that she wouldnât have to mark you with her lipstick again.âÂ

Emilie leaned into Waverly, a huge smile on her face that faulted when she heard the baby monitor. She instinctively began to get up before her wife jumped ahead of her and she sighed thankfully. Biting her lip, she picked up her fork and took a bite of pancake, her eyes practically rolling back in her head as she wondered when Waverly became such an incredible cook.
Waverly picked Adelaide up from her crib, cuddling her and showering her with kisses. Thankfully, the cry was just from the need to be touched and cooed, which Waverly did so well. That, and a bottle of milk. When she was calm enough, Waverly dressed her in the Valentines day onesie she bought the day before. They made their way to the coupleâs room to sit beside Emilie on the bed to watch Emilie eat. âLook, Rosebud. Mumma made Mommy a Valentines breakfast all by herself. I wonder if she likes it?â

Emilie hummed, sitting up a little and pushing her hair out of her face. âYou didnât have to, sweetheart..â she said with a grin, reaching up to cup Waverlyâs face. âThank you, my love. It looks wonderful.â
âI wanted to,â she gushed, blushing. Waverly snuggled in closer, leaning in to kiss her forehead. âI love you. Now eat up.â Just as she prompted her wife to get some food in her stomach, the baby monitor indicated that another grumpy baby that didnât like mornings was now awake. âLooks like Rosebud is up now too. Iâll go, you have some breakfast to eat.â

Emilie groaned again as Waverly looked at her, covering her face with the sheet. But the second she smelled the pancakes, pancakes that didnât smell like smoke and charred flour, she slowly unveiled her face and opened her eyes. A hangover breakfast was definitely needed, but she was normally the one to be making it. âYou made this..?â she asked, a tired smile slowly forming on her lips. âBy yourself?â
Waverly nodded. âMhm. All by myself,â she says proudly. âIâm just as surprised as you are.â She takes the rose and hands it to the sleepy blonde. âCome on, humor me a little.â

The night before, Emilie and Waverly had drank far too much wine, leaving the blonde with her inevitable headache to haunt her in the morning. Ever since having Adelaide, itâs like her tolerance for anything had done a factory reset, alcohol being the worst. When she awoke to her wifeâs voice, a pathetic groan came from under the pillows and blankets. âI need medicine,â she moaned before daring to open her eyes, completely missing Waverlyâs adorable gesture.
Waverly rolled her eyes, peeking inside the sheets. âNo, you need love and pancakes.â She brings the table next to the blonde with a sweet smile. âItâs Valentines Day, so I get to make you breakfast in bed.âÂ

@xo-emimarieÂ
It was way too early to be up, but Waverly wanted this day to go perfectly. There were only a few days in the year that she can be excused for being overly cheesy. Stirred from her sleep by her vibrating alarm on her phone, she got out of bed as quietly as she could so as not to wake Emilie and made her way to the kitchen. After sneakily researching on the recipe last night, Waverly was excited to actually execute the breakfast meal. Heart Shaped Strawberry Filled Pancakes just screams I love you in the morning. She got to it, her tongue sticking out slightly in that ridiculous manner when she was focusing and with Samson wagging his tail on the other side of the counter watching her. When everything was ready, she grabbed the portable table complete with the rose and the coffee and carried it to their room where a still sleeping Emilie was to be found. âRise and shine, sleepyhead,â Waverly says, laying the table on her side of the bed.
Our handsome boy
Yea⊠cute. Sorry who are you?
I was just really excited about the photo... You do, however, look very familiar.
âAw, sheâs absolutely precious Waverly. You and Emilie created a such a beautiful little girl.â
âCreated,â she repeated and blushed. âThatâs a really nice way to put it.â Waverly looked at the picture sheâd seen a hundred times and still felt the warmth that she felt the first time she saw it. âShe is! Even when she cries all throughout the night, she is still the most precious thing.â
âHeâd love that! You know he thinks the world of you two. Between you getting married and the baby, heâs really curious about everything now. Thanks for that.â
âGood, I wouldnât even need to bribe him with cupcakes and lollipops to come over. Heâs a smart little chipper, isnât he.â
Juliet smirked at the question. âWatch and learn.â She drawled, flipping her hair over her shoulder and walking straight to the front. All she had to do was say her name and her drink was in front of her not even a minute later. Juliet flashed her most charming smile before making her way casually over to the woman. âYou were saying?â
âDamn, that often huh?â she says, laughing lightly and paying for the drink before Juliet could protest. âSafe to say weâre at par with our caffeine consumption.â
DELILAH & WAVERLY. //
Hearing Waverly called Delilah her daughter warmed Lilah. Waverly really considered a daughter? âSo you really donât mind?â The words tumbled out of Lilahâs mouth in a quiet rush before she could think better of it, heart in her throat. âI mean, Emi choosing to adopt me⊠yâ you really donâtâŠmind? Me being in the family?â
Waverly gave Lilah a warm smile, nudging her chin fondly. âWhy would I mind? You were already family to begin with, Lilah.âÂ

Emilie sighed. She knew sheâd been giving the majority of her attention and not to her wife lately, but did it really need to happen atâŠfive in the morning?? Peeking at the clock was a mistake. âAnd tired and cranky,â she added, though wasnât pulling away from the kisses at all.
Despite the crankiness, Waverly weaved their legs together and she continuously lay kisses on the blondeâs shoulder. âJust say the word and Iâll stop...â she whispers in her ear before biting it softly.
