A DBU student just dropped these off. The story is that this fruit is only available 10 days every year. Delicious. Sweet like candy.

Food art. These swans were stuffed with durian, typically a very smelly fruit when fresh. The cooking process must remove the smell. Tasted a lot like pumpkin when cooked. We enjoyed what is called Morning Tea with a DBU student, maybe the Chinese equivalent to brunch. In the top center of the photo are chicken feet; not too bad. ;-)

Finally, after first coming to China in 2004, I have learned how to peel a litchi---the easy way. Look for the line, place fingers above and below the line, and then squeeze. I can eat these things all day. #litchi #fruit #china (at Shenzhen, Guangdong)

Rec. . . I was definitely not excited about reading this book on organizational governance. It sat on the shelf for a few months. I finally got into the book and was pleasantly surprised. Great book! This will make a good gift for a spouse, family member or friend that serves on a for-profit or non-profit board.
