kim possible is your basic, average girl, saving the world one mission at a time. okay, that might be overkill but she does do a good amount of fighting for those around her and anyone in need of help. her services started in middle school with a fluke hit on her site that lead to her calling card; who knew her gymnastic skills would come in handy for getting a billionaire out of his maze of lasers? with the help of her friends, ron and wade, there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. it’s in the name, after all; anything’s possible for a possible.

most of her jobs dealt with an array of criminals that she always managed to stop before they could wreck havoc on the public. however, one team of evil-doers always stood out, dr. drakken and shego. while drakken had history that involved her own father, kim found herself within shego’s narrative. the two were actually close once, way back in childhood when the other still went by shyann. things were great between them, kim couldn’t tell why the kids in their grade treated her any different. that was until an incident involving classroom mockery ended with her friend running into the bathroom and kim following to comfort her. the sight of glowing green hands was frightening, enough to make kim turn away from someone she thought she knew. it was only in scary stories and movies where villains had powers, it was hard to see glowing green hands as a good thing. it was out of fear and confusion that she ran away from her friend.

after that, things were tense with shyann, kim avoided her to process things and it seemed like the other did the same. as the two grew older, it felt too late to try and patch things up. kim had cheerleading, friends, school and a new agency business to take care of. she was content with her life but the thought of the shyann out there with powers left her uneasy, both for everyone else’s sake and shyann’s. she’d heard rumors of her once-friend associating herself with a felon for strange matters and the confirmation of it came as she worked on an assignment. from then on, it was a matter of battling someone she once considered a friend. for kim, there was now a lack of regret in leaving that young girl in the bathroom, if this was what she wanted then there was nothing she could’ve done differently to change that. it took some work to land drakken in jail but it was done, the whereabouts of shego were left to be determined but they found each other every so often when kim was working a new case.

while kim does continue her agent work, she now spends most of her time being a private eye. this work focuses more on detective skills than actual crime fighting but every so often she will take on special cases that leave her with bruises by the end of her mission. other than that, kim tries to lead a normal life and keep busy with whatever she can that doesn't involve putting herself in danger. still, she'll help anyone who asks, she's simply incapable of saying no.

HC’s:

she does her rounds of helping the neighborhood in small ways, she’ll help with gardening, fixing up cars, getting cats out of trees, and sometimes simple babysitting gigs. these jobs are more rewarding in terms of seeing the positivity in the community afterwards, she’ll do whatever to keep up the morale around town.

kim’s asked her brothers to build a good security system for her apartment. she’s made a lot of enemies in her past and the danger they pose is enough for her to worry over her safety. she tries to convince those in her life to also install safety measures just in case, the last thing she’d want is for someone to get harmed on her behalf.

kim has a bad habit of sacrificing dates, meetings, and family outings for her job. blame it on her drive or that she’s a self proclaimed workaholic but she won’t stop thinking about a job until it’s dealt with. her family is used to such things but it does get in the way of friendships and dating often.

if you wanted to convince kim to do anything (within reason), give her puppy dog eyes and she'll be putty in your hands. but be expected to get the puppy dog eyes right back when she gets the chance.

For just a brief moment, he wonders how accurate and up to date the blueprints might be, given that they had no real clue of even knowing which renovation they had come from. With a family like the Northwests, Dipper was sure they were constantly adding and changing to their mansion, if only just to prove that they had the money to do so. But it was the only lead they had and doubting it right now wasn’t going to help them any. It was a thought he’d only express at the end of the night, if this search turned out to be a total bust. For now though, he was going to trust what they had.

When the pushing on the shelves obviously didn’t do anything, Dipper took a step back and continued to look around, his brain whirling on what other possibilities there could be for an opening. “Okay okay. When we found the other room last time Pacifica and I sort just… fell into it. The door was through a painting, we didn’t have to push or pull anything that I remember. We just… stumbled into it,” he explained again, frowning as he moved to go and stand by the other framed paintings on the wall. They were all hung higher than the other one had been and he highly doubted that the entrance way to both rooms would be exactly the same, but it was the best option they had. The only one based in any sort of logic rather than just going around randomly messing with objects in hopes that something will trigger an opening.

There was nothing more frustrating to Kim than a mission coming to a dead end. She didn't want to let go of the Northwest lookout but nothing ever showed up, all the hidden rooms were emptied out or didn't seem to exist in the first place no matter how much they tried. Hope wasn't gone, she could sense they were so close to a breakthrough but that belief wasn't backed by much evidence. Still, she wasn't going to give up and she was sure Dipper wouldn't either. Speaking of dead ends, there was another one she had her mind on lately. Not that it was anywhere near important as figuring out what the Northwests were hiding but it was something she couldn't ignore, especially after spending so much time with him.

Kim didn't exactly understand where she stood with Dipper. In simple terms, they maybe could've been considered friends and she'd be fine with that label had it not been for the fact that they'd been on a couple of dates now—even if some of them were accompanied by Ron. She just hated the confusion and hoped a quick trip to the Mystery Shack could clear some answers. "I saw you at New Year's, it looked like you were having fun," she didn't know what to think about the fact that they hadn't gone to the party together. It was the reason she had to remind herself as to why she shouldn't have expected a kiss from him at midnight. "Couldn't find you afterwards though, did you go home early?" She subtly asked as she skimmed through the interesting merchandise in the museum's gift shop.

Food filled a lot of voids in his life which included questions he didn't have the answers to. Kim had always been the one with a plan and he followed behind, it had been that way since preschool when they first met. She was the one who knew the trajectory of her life, who she wanted to be, what all she wanted to achieve, while the blonde boy simply went along the path she made. Now that they'd grown up he hadn't given it much thought since he knew no matter how hard he worked he'd never be able to do what Kim did. That's why she was Kim Possible after all and he was none other than Ron Stoppable, their futures written in the letters of their names. "I don't know Kim..." He didn't want to get into it while a perfectly good pile of nachos was going cold but he feared she wouldn't let him free of this interrogation. "I can't be some badass private investigator like you. You've always been the brains of the operation, and I don't know, what do I do?" He exhaled heavily, using the moment to take another chip from the stack and throw it into his mouth. "Do you think I could do that? Like be a detective and help people, like you."

Ron and Kim had always been best friends, nothing changed that and Kim was certain that nothing would be able to change that. Their friendship had gone through a lot over their lifetime. She'd been there for him for every situation he was in, no matter how ridiculous it was and he did the same for her regardless of how dangerous it was. She felt like she could talk to him about everything, it hadn't ever really been a problem before. So why couldn't she bring up the fact that they'd kissed at New Year's Eve like any other conversation? Was there anything to discuss, Kim questioned that herself and it brought her down a spiral of other questions when all the answers kind of just led back to the facts that their friendship wasn't something she wanted to change.

Maybe it was as simple of a topic as their small and brief kiss was, barely anything to bring attention to when that wasn't necessary. Still, it passed through her mind on occasion and the only excuse she had for why was the fact that it wasn't something she expected to happen in the first place. It occupied her mind that much that she hadn't been too attentive in the apartment she was still getting used to sharing with the boy in question. Her reflexes were fast enough to avoid a collision in the kitchen thankfully but it didn't save them from the awkward eye contact before the apologies from both sides came rushing in. Kim buried her head in her phone to steer clear of another weird moment. "Are you gonna make dinner or do you wanna get take out maybe?"

The moment had finally come: a pile of nachos sat before him after all these months apart, along with his best friend who he'd missed even more. He gave a content hum as the scent of warm cheese and a hint of jalapeno hit his nostrils while he thought about how good it felt to be home. Ron had been so invested in his half of the food that he hadn't been adding much conversationally. A breath was taken from his devouring to reply, having enjoyed just listening to her talk after not hearing her voice for so long. Not that it wasn't nice being at his parents' house but being away from the Isle was about more than missing his bed. "Hey, there's a lot more going on in a locker. Books, lunch, my homeroom snack, Rufus' lounge, you know, the necessities." It had been much easier to maintain a clean room compared to the metal confines of the locker in question; that and the fact that growing up had done wonders for his cleanliness. Before he was able to go deeper into his explanation her big question hit like a brick, realizing while he was happy to be back Ron might've been overstaying his welcome. "Oh, right, for sure for sure." The blonde nodded even though he'd only glanced at the website. "I'll be out before Christmas so my present can be no more of my presence," he laughed trying to act as though he hadn't taken it to heart. "Then i don't need to buy you anything either since I've been unemployed." Not only was she his best friend but his boss which meant he hadn't been getting a paycheck recently, Ron had been doing what he could with his savings that was about run dry.

Even though they'd been separated for a couple of years, Kim still knew her best friend like the back of her hand. She was acutely aware of the way he liked to hide his disappointment with a joke, even the way he laughed gave it away. "Ron," she reached for his hand before he could distract himself with another chip. "Stay for as long as you need, trust me it's no biggie." She could only hope the smile on her face was convincing enough but she figured some clarification into her inquiry wouldn't hurt. "I wanna know what the game plan is here now that you're back. You know, like, are you gonna get any side gigs or do you maybe wanna take a couple of classes?" She grabbed for her share of the nachos, letting him ruminate on her suggestions. "I love you but if I have to drag you off the couch to make sure you're keeping yourself busy, I definitely will and you know it."

"I didn't think it was possible but you're turning out to be a decent roommate." Kim took a chip off of their shared plate of nachos before realizing she might have to clarify before Ron got too offended. "Like on the whole cleanliness front, you've been neater than I expected. Y'know, considering your locker in school wasn't always in the greatest condition." She took a bite of the high in sodium and highly processed food she'd began to miss without her friend on the island. "Have you, maybe, looked into getting your own place, though?" She did her best to toss out that question as casually as she could, even checking her phone notifications to show a semblance to show she didn't really care. And it's not that she even really did care for his answer, she just wanted a way in to Ron's mind and his plans now that he was back on the island. But if she knew anything about her best friend it's that he could get comfortable, possibly too comfortable and she just wanted to keep him on track for his future, as she often had to do.

Despite how easy Kim had made it seem like breaking into the Northwest mansion would be once she got her friends involved, he still hadn’t been prepared for the cakewalk of simply… walking right into the estate. Every little sound had Dipper flinching and swinging his flashlight round to investigate, but it was never anything more than simply creaking floors or walls settling in the night. It would almost be embarrassing, or well no, it was fully embarrassing, behaving this way in front of a professional spy and investigator - but he simply couldn’t help it. For all he had gone on his own fair share of little missions over the years of looking into the truth of the isle, he’d never had the same type of technology and advances that Kim had at her fingertips.

As they searched throughout the library, trying to find some way to access the hidden room their blueprints so obviously stated should be just on the other side of the wall, a sense of dread that this might be a dead-end began to fill him. “Ha. Yeah, right. Like the Northwests would ever bother opening a book in their lives,” he snorts as he shakes his head and continues to brush his hand over every book he can reach. “No, nothing. Are we sure this is the right room? There’s gotta be something around here…” Though what it would be, he had no clue. But the books were clearly not working and if they were going to get anywhere tonight they needed to take a new approach. Taking a step backwards, he stared at the shelves for a moment before he simply started pushing against the frame. “There’s gotta be something.”

"Has to be here, that's what the blueprints said." Kim looked back on the photos they'd saved just to double check what she already knew was right. She only wished finding this room was as easy as walking onto the property but this required some standard sleuthing. Her partner in this crime made the choice to stop examining the books and she couldn't help but think that was the right move to make considering they'd be there all night if they really looked over the entire library. "Okay then let's think this out," a sigh released as she returned the books into their place.

"If the Northwests were serious enough to keep all this evidence in a room instead of just getting rid of it then they'd want to keep it for a reason. They want access to it but nothing too easy that anyone could stumble on it so—you're right—it's probably not gonna be the books." Taking a step back as she looked at the wall once more, she'd mentally crossed off the collection of novels. What was left were framed paintings, some statues nearby, and decorative sconces. If she examined closely, the look of the intricate wall moulding could be a hint but a quick glance didn't catch anything out of the ordinary. "It wouldn't be exactly in plain sight but it's gotta be somewhere they'd make it obvious but not too obvious that anyone would look too closely at."

Rather than interrupting with his own thoughts, he remained silent for a few moments as Kim went through everything she thought they’d need to do in order to pull this off. It was a process Dipper understood fairly well, explaining your thoughts out loud to help you make sense of every possibility swimming in your head, so he knew better than to speak up and throw her off. It’s not until she’s directly asking him if he’s ready and wants to go through with another round of searching the Northwest estate, this time with the addition of breaking and entering, that he finally says anything. “If you have a way of getting around the alarms, getting in and around the manor won’t be a problem, not now that we have the blueprints. We should probably leave the original copy here though and take pictures of them on our phones to use once we get there. That way if we’re caught, we’ll at least still have the proof of the rooms existing,” he suggests, pulling out his phone to do exactly that.

It’s with a roll of his eyes that he snaps the picture and tucks his cell back into his pocket. “Yeah, right. Like hell am I not going with you. I’ve been thinking about that damn room and everything in it for years, no way am I letting anyone else discover it again without me,” he declares, not even having to think for a second as to whether or not he was coming along. Staying behind and letting her do all of the work wasn’t even an option as far as Dipper was concerned. “Besides, if we do get caught, chances are better of them not killing us on the spot if I’m there. No offense. I know they hate me and everything, but they also know how annoying and president my family can be. My disappearance wouldn’t go over well.”

"Woah," A reassuring hand reached for his shoulder as she let out a light chuckle. “Relax, I’m just joking. I already knew that there was no way you wouldn't be going. Plus, I wouldn't want to go without you." It was a bold statement, not one she was really planning on admitting but it just escaped her in her aim of calming him down. Kim nonchalantly cleared her throat, moving her hand away and crossing her arms instead. "Y'know, because I wouldn't have known about all of this if it weren't for you. But, it is good to know we have insurance in case we get caught."

Getting into the mansion was as easy as simply walking right in, with the right maneuvering of course. The first floor only had two rooms to search through, one of which they'd already uncovered previously. From the looks on the blueprints, the second hidden room was able to be accessed from the next adjacent room, that being the library. At their combined realization that the secret entrance was going to be harder to find, they'd both begun pulling books off of shelves and tampering with any adornment in the room. "There's no way they need this entire public library's worth of books, I seriously doubt any of them have even read 'A Brief History of Time.'" The Northwests didn't seem like the people to really care over physics, she was certain the book she pulled was mainly for decoration. "You find anything yet?"

It wasn’t often that Dipper ever trusted anyone else when it came to his work or research. Or… anything in general honestly. Opening up wasn’t exactly his strong suit, it had taken years for him to fully come to the realization that he could always rely and count on his own sister. So it felt weird, allowing Kim to know as much as she already does, but it was turning out to be a smart move on his part. Together they’d already found the room he remembered from his first visit to the Northwest house, though it had been emptied, and given her connections and the resources she had at her fingertips - she had a way higher chance of actually getting them somewhere. A thought that turned out to be right, confirmed with a call that had Dipper up and running out of the Mystery Shack before he’d even hung up the phone.

The drive over to Kim’s office wasn’t a long one, and considering he may or may not have broken the speed limit on his way, he made it in record time. “Alright, what do we got?” he asks as soon as he enters the door, forgetting any type of pleasantries or hellos in his excitement. This was the first real step he’s made in years in the Northwest case, and while it may not be as important as some of the other things he was investigating, it was still nice to finally be moving forward after all this time. Leaning over the desk to take a look at the blueprints spread out across it, Dipper recognized pretty much immediately the difference between these ones and the outlines he had studied so long ago. The rooms he had been trying to find on the official documents of the building were finally shown - and directly from the source of the Northwests themselves. “Kim, this is brilliant,” he breathes out in awe, eyes scanning over the papers over and over as if trying to commit it to memory. It takes him a moment to piece together which of the extra rooms was the one he and Pacifica had stumbled upon when they were younger, but he finally does and points to it with a nod. “That’s it. That’s the room we found. Meaning any of these other ones could be where they moved all of the evidence to instead.”

"We could probably scope it out tonight, it'd be risky but there would be less guards on site than at the engagement party." Her monologued thought process was very much needed to help convince her and Dipper that this could actually work. "Yeah, we'd probably just have to deal with finding a way onto the property. That'd require hacking into the main gate which actually isn't that hard, and I could ask a friend to deal with any cameras and alarms." She nodded her head in the understanding that it really wouldn't be that much trouble to get into. Of course they'd have to do their fair share of sneaking around as to not disturb the family or any staff inside the manor but it wasn't an impossible job, not there was such a thing for the redhead. "So, what do you say to round two?"

She would never even think of replacing Ron, but the circumstances had her trusting someone who was more knowledgable on the family in question and knew what it was they were looking for. So, if it looked like she was temporarily hiring a sidekick of sorts, then she'd only hoped her best friend wouldn't hear about it. "But, y'know, if you wanted to wait or just don't want to come along for whatever reason, I'd get it." She casually tossed around an easy out for him, teasing the other as if she didn't already know his answer.

On instinct his nose scrunched up ever so slightly at the thought of doing any kind of favor or kind deed for the blonde. The last thing Dipper would ever admit to was caring even in the slightest for Pacifica Northwest - he would rather be possessed again than let anyone, especially not Pacifica herself, think that to be true. But then again, it would probably piss her off thinking that he was here out of pity or as some sort of kind gesture, so maybe he should let her think that… Either way, it doesn’t really matter - he was here and there was no going back. “It’s not really as great as it looks,” he promises, even if it’s hard to believe. He doesn’t necessarily want to go into detail about the last time he had been in the Northwest mansion though, so he just leaves it at that.

At the change in topic from Pacifica herself to her parents and the rest of her ancestors, he can’t help but let out a snort, one he tries to cover with a sip of his drink as he shakes his head in amusement. “Oh that wouldn’t surprise me at all,” he agrees with a chuckle. Dipper knew for absolute certain that she was right, he’d seen the room hidden away somewhere in this mansion that quite literally shows practically everything the Northwests have done over the centuries, but that wasn’t something he felt right sharing with Kim. While he wanted nothing more than to tear down the family, it needed to be done correctly - and he had no way of knowing for sure if that room even still existed, much less did he remember how they had stumbled upon it. Opening his mouth and telling anyone, just for it to have been cleared out years ago, would only discredit himself - meaning no one would listen to other proof he might find regarding the Northwest family affairs. And that wasn’t a risk he was willing to take right now. Though… he supposed if anyone would be supportive of the idea it would be his date. And actually, the more he thought about it - the more intriguing the idea was to just tell her. Kim was a detective after all, and this might be the only chance he’ll have any time soon at being able to try to find that room again…

Setting his drink down on the table, Dipper turned to her with a surprisingly serious face as he tried to figure out how to explain everything. “Actually, I know for a fact that they have. Lied and extorted people, I mean. There’s a room here, hidden away behind some painting, that’s filled with the stories and proof of everything they’ve done. Pacifica and I found it once when we were thirteen - but I haven’t told anyone because I didn’t have the chance to record any of the evidence, and I’ve obviously never had a chance to look for it again," he starts, a short sparknotes version of what happened all those years ago. "But… Now, with everyone busy and focusing on this engagement, there might be an opening to go find it… We could finally bring the Northwests down, show the whole island the fakes that they are.”

Maybe for someone else, an empty room didn't mean much but for Kim Possible, it brought on intrigue. When hearing about a room full of evidence the Northwests kept, it was laughable to think they'd leave it lying around in their home. Digging around for that room seemed to be a bust when they came across the vacant den. However, based on the fact that Dipper was able to find the room at all, and from the looks of it recently being emptied out, Kim was willing to believe there was truth to what he had claimed. It was taking a leap in faith to go around trying to uncover a family that was respected in local history books but then again, the accounts of the Northwest family were sketchy to begin with. Her first round of research was just to get to know the living generation but when she got further down the family tree, Kim had found some inconsistencies with their truths; Dates on the island textbooks and official records weren't matching up, and sometimes she'd even found a name or two that were wiped from existence. At that point, her sole mission had been looking for the truth because it could mean the difference between just a snobbish family and a bloodline that exploits & threatens others for their own benefit.

Kim looked as the document stretched across the desk in her office, she felt pride in being able to find it after months of searching for it. And she was sure her partner in crime in this investigation would be very happy to see it as well, which is why she called him in as soon as she could so that he could see it for himself. Thankfully she didn't have to wait too long to see his reaction as it felt like he was already rushing over before she the call had even ended. "It's the real deal, I had to track down like 100 guys who previously worked on the construction for the place and none of them had anything until this one guy mentioned he had scanned the floor plans for when they extended their ballroom. He did it just to have an extra copy for work and forgot to hand it over to the Northwests. Poor guy was too scared to mention it after the fact so he kept it stowed away." It was possibly pure luck that they had any chance at retrieving this record, even Kim was impressed that it was in their hands. "See, these blueprints are different from the ones down that the library's archives. The ones there don't include these rooms," she pointed out a couple of areas that accounted for skewed dimensions or were simply blocked off entirely.

For a brief moment, when Kim questions again the fact that Pacifica had been the one to invite him, Dipper worries that she might find his harshness about the blonde to be rude or wrong. But that thought is quickly pushed aside once she makes her own snarky comment regarding the bride to be. “That’s probably exactly what happened. I think she only has like one friend that she doesn’t have to pay to hang out with her,” he agrees with a snort at the end and a smirk of his own growing on his lips. There were few things Dipper Pines enjoyed more than reminiscing on all the ways that Pacifica Northwest is the worst human being alive.

“No, I absolutely had to show up. If I didn’t she’d take that as a win,” he argued, a sentiment he truly believed. If he had stayed home, Pacifica would have thought him too weak or pathetic to have shown his face. And the last thing he was going to do was give her any more fire to potentially throw at him - not when it was so easy to just put on a nice dress shirt, show up and eat some free food, and potentially even find a way to knock the blonde down a peg or two throughout the night. “She invited me as a challenge. And because, like you said, she didn’t have anyone else that would be willing to show their face for her. She couldn’t stand it if her husband had a longer invite list than her.”

Kim thought of herself as indifferent towards anyone before she had a chance to properly get to know them but between her very brief introduction and the first person account she was hearing, she didn't keep the blonde in high regard so far. Laughing at a joke or two about someone who bullied her date didn't make her feel that bad. "Sounds like you're the one doing her the favor by being here, that's nice of you. I'm just the one reaping the benefits of being the plus one so thanks for the invite," She raised her glass as a small cheers. "I don't think I'd ever get the chance to be here otherwise, I mean, look at this place." It honestly astounded her how affluent the Northwests were. Kim considered her own family well-off but this was on a completely different level.

If there was anything that Kim was going to do, it was her research. Before the redhead even step foot into the mansion, she looked into whatever stories she could find regarding the wealthy family's history. Needless to say, there weren't many great reports but that only fueled the conversation that she could sense Dipper wouldn't mind indulging in. "It wouldn't surprise me if the rumors of the Northwest ancestors spreading lies and doing shady deals were true. No one makes this kind of money without exploiting a couple thousand people or so."

Attending the engagement party of one Pacifica Northwest certainly hadn’t been something he expected to happen this year, or ever really. For so many reasons. Primarily being that he hadn’t even realized she was seeing anyone seriously enough to be ready for marriage. And then even if he had been aware of her eagerness to marry, Dipper never would have thought he’d be invited to the party proclaiming that fact. But for some reason he had been and while skipping had been tempting, he knew he needed to show up. Out of pure curiosity about just who the fuck was willing to marry the blonde, if nothing else.

As Kim approached him again after they’d been separated for a bit, he was eager to take the offered alcohol, snorting to himself at her description of the woman of the hour before taking a sip of the drink. “Pacifica Northwest is the worst. The absolute most horrendous person I’ve ever met,” he agrees, being far harsher in his own explanation of the girl - the sentiment being one he’d vocalized many times over all his years of knowing her. “She was my childhood bully. To me and my sister. We met her back when we first came here for the summer back when we were like thirteen.” None of which explained why he was here tonight, but even Dipper wasn’t entirely sure of a valid answer for that question.

The looks of Pacifica Northwest were much nicer than her personality gave away. The description of the person her date had grown up with aligned with the person she’d just met so it wasn’t surprising to hear. Although, it did make her that more regretful for showing up since she didn’t realize this was the person everyone was here to celebrate. “And she’s the one that invited you here? Interesting.” A sudden number of questions and theories formed, ones that she could only muse upon as she didn’t care enough about the blonde to ask her herself. Kim could sense that Dipper was as clueless as she was regarding the invitation to the engagement party so she didn’t bother speculating out loud. However, she did share her first guess as to what really happened, “Kinda sounds like she ran out of people that actually like her to invite.” Her own snarky comment caused a smirk to grow on her lips before taking a small sip of her drink.

“So.. you here for sadistic reasons or what?” While she didn’t want to spend another second talking to the blonde, she did have her own date that was playing into the invite. It only made sense that she question him on his agreement while he was here. “You know you didn’t have to show up just because you were invited. Which, obviously now knowing she did that to you, is weird enough that she asked you to come but now I have as many questions for you as I do for her.”

Talks of a big engagement party was all she'd heard people talking about leading up to the event and Kim was more than happy to tag along with Dipper to see what all the hype was about. It kept her busy on a holiday she thought she would've been spending with an ex so this was a good enough distraction as any to keep her mind away from thinking about him. And entertained she was, the very brief and interesting interaction she had with the Pacifica Northwest was all she could think about. Kim didn't even realize someone could be so unrelenting to her own party guests.

"Well the bride to be is definitely... something. She was, like, surprised I was here with you," Kim revealed as she handed him a spare glass of champagne. She figured he could use it considering he was the one that knew the girl for longer. But then that posed the question on why Dipper was even invited considering the host clearly didn't take a liking to him. "How is it that you know her again?"

Feeling a tap on her shoulder, Bubbles turned to see who it was, only to find herself face to face with a redhead. As the girl before her introduced herself as Kim Possible, the blonde’s eyes had widened before she let out a gasp. To say she has heard of Kim Possible before would be a total understatement. Bubbles has known about the redhead for quite some time now, aware of the others friendship with her older sister as Blossom has mentioned Kim’s name a few times to her and Buttercup before. But it wasn’t even just from her big sis is where Bubbles knew the redhead from— she also knew Kim because she works with Dewey. She was his partner, and there has been enough times where the blonde heard of Kim’s name from her best friend that it was actually kind of shocking she hasn’t met her until now. No, seriously, Bubbles pride herself in always knowing who her sisters friends were and that extended to her own closes friendship as well so the fact that Kim had came to find her surprised the middle Utonium girl. Yet, Bubbles smiled at her. “Wait— Kim Possible you say?” She repeated. “I sure am! I’m Bubbles—  younger sister to Blossom but older sister to Buttercup~” She giggled. “Wow, I cannot believe I’m finally getting the chance to meet you, I’ve heard so much about you!”

The other girl seemed so peppy, which normally she’d love but in this case, only made her seem more suspicious. It wasn't anything Bubbles said already that she’d picked up a sour note from, it just didn’t make sense to Kim that someone could be this lively and have a friendship with Shego. Regardless, she put up a kind smile but remained a bit wary, “All good things I hope.” Kim knew better than to come straight out of the gate with interrogating questions regarding what business she had to do with Shego so the first thing she needed to do was gain some trust. “It’s so nice to meet you, Bubbles. Can I just say I love your outfit for tonight? Blue looks so good on you.” Maybe compliments were the easiest route she could find to get closer to what she actually wanted to talk about but it’s not like she was lying —the girl really did look good!— it just happened to speed up the trusting process along. “Did you come here with anyone?”
