BUFFY & SPIKE in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (seasons 6/7). — requested by @sarahmae101
the appeal of spike is that he is simultaneously an annoying ass leather wearing bad boy vampire and the most sopping wet lover boy loser failure this world has ever seen
What is this to you? This thing we have? Buffy and Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (seasons 5, 6 & 7).
Buffy the Vampire Slayer 6.19 Hell's Bells
I am tired of defensiveness and weird, mixed signals. Let's just get to the truth here, okay?

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER | 4.09 🩸🍷
What makes Spuffy so charming to me as enemies to lovers is that I could not picture them as lovers during their enemies era, they were both so devoted to their respective partners and they always fought each other with the intention to win without sparing any empathetic thought about one another.
Even when they made an alliance in the season 2 finale, Spike just shrugged and walked away at the realization that Buffy might die. All they both cared about was their respective goals, but then circumstances bring them closer and Buffy comes to rely on him and Spike becomes obsessed with her and it suddenly makes sense.
I simply love how their dynamic unwraps slowly and evolves.
Spuffy is so awesome because they’re great at using their bodies in tandem (fighting & fucking) but they fucking suuuck at everything else. They cannot communicate, they cross boundaries, they argue all the time, they do stuff to intentionally piss the other one off, etc. It’s the perfect dynamic.
spuffy is like if they made iris by the goo goo dolls into people
