i don’t know what movement, let alone a revolution, has not been led by a person or a party.

there is no way in hell the AMERICAN people specifically are going to magically rise up against the fascism they voted for??? they can barley read???

this isn’t meant to be elitist but, just objectively, a nation that has been soaking in red-scare for the past century and some change, with horrible systems of education, aren’t going to suddenly become revolutionists on their own accord.

in the same way MAGA and Blue-MAGA has been able to capture different secs of the nation, a socialist party need to put in the work to do the same.

and it shouldn’t start or end with propaganda. an ideal party would spark interest and gain trust of the populist by providing mass amounts of mutual aid and support for communities in their name.

yet, instead of this, every socialist just wants to sit on their ass, bitch and moan online, and pray it’ll magically appear out of thin air.

i don’t like the idea that someones lack of interest of you is a reflection of them as a person. the whole “he would be so stupid to not like you” i think assumes that men in particular aren’t allowed to be human. no one owes you attraction or attention, of course respect should be present on both ends, but no one is forced to like you. it doesn’t make him a ‘piece of shit’ for not taking you out for a second date, it makes him someone who doesn’t want to pursue you. be grateful he isn’t wasting your time. refocus on yourself and your relationships with your friends and family.
