I unfortunately did not like this film as much as I wanted to. The best part of Backrooms was when it was exploring the backrooms. Clark just walking around and seeing how nothing about it makes sense was great! The entire exploration with Bobby, Kat, and Clark was great and terrifying. But the second we switched from his pov to Mary's it started to go downhill.

I personally would have loved to see Clark slowly lose his mind in the backrooms trying to escape and realizing it's just an endless maze. Also pirate Clark was...not great in my opinion, although I did love the concept of the copies. Overall it wasn't a bad movie, but it felt like it missed the point of what makes the backrooms scary, and relied on typical horror movie tropes.
